How to open an oil filter with a side cutter

No need for expensive tools, just a vice and a side cutter. Start by snipping the edge off, then peel the edge off till you expose the filter element.

Actually tried using the same tools, getting it started is a little tricky, I haven't opened it yet. lol.

Just make a small cut in the lip with the side cutter.
