  • On this adventure I share with our viewers my favorite place to stay when exploring the Lake Louise area, the tent campground. Not a secret to anyone but this video will go over the accommodations you can expect at the Lake Louise tent campground which to my surprise is completely enclosed in an electric fence.

Love watching all your videos, I was wondering how long will it take to be hiking to lake louise? Thank you so much!

Depends on how fast you are, nobody can answer that question but yourself. It’s about 3km. You can do it in 30 mins or 2 hours… average is somewhere in between! ✌️

Merci! Je veux finir un video de tous les terrains de camping de Banff & Jasper avant 2024. Il m'en manque seulement 6.

Thanks for showing the campground. I'm looking into using it this year. Are there any plugins if I needed to recharge a battery?

This site has no power, there’s likely plugs in the day use areas and at the showers but not a place to charge your battery. Finding power sources in the National Parks is an issue, hence why I often carry two marine batteries to charge my stuff during our trips

We will be staying at that same campground so this video was a good introduction for us. Thank you for this video!
we had a question tho - Do we need to bring our own firewood or can we just buy it around there?

Most places in the National Parks have their own wood piles you can use, no need to buy wood.

Hi Eric. I’ve watched your videos for the Banff campgrounds we are interested in visiting this summer. We will have young kids, and be using a pop up trailer for camping. I’m kinda between this site and Tunnel Mountain. Would you say the safety of this site (from animals) is worth no electricity? Or should we opt for Tunnel Mountain with electricity?

Having electricity is never a factor for me, deciding where to stay at a campground. You will definitely have to bring ways to make electricity for yourself because there’s basically no places to get power. There’s tons of ways to make electricity and I even camp on the very last days of the year using batteries and heated blankets to sleep on air mattresses.

The lake Louise campground for tents does have limited power in common areas like showers & bathrooms
