I tried this model, i was VERY impressed with the interior quality, fit and finish. I own an Audi, and Mazda is very, very close to german quality feel with this model. Really impressive.

love your review. detailed and insightful. putting words to exactly what I feel about my CX-30. we've gotten this for a few months now and it's absolutely stunning. made a switch from the S80 so we thought nothing comes close (in terms of finish), but Mazda poured a lot into the interior making it so beautiful. of course the exterior too. equally awestruck by its appearance. was contemplating between this and the Mazda 6 but this one drives better. a delight for any types of drives i.e. short errand, or cruising on the highway. for a crossover, it's as agile as a sedan. thanks for sharing about this subtle beauty (: hope you're enjoying your CX-30 just as muchh

The button that you were unsure of (car with circle around it), will activate and deactivate the safety features: lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring and maybe one or two other safety features. Really nice to be able to deactivate it without going into a menu system.

The CX-5 is a great car but if you’re looking for something which offers a little more performance and sporty characteristics, the CX-30 is to go for!

Cx30 gives more luxury than other cars in the same league. Very nice look,interior and drive.
leasing one currently, great looking exterior, great feeling interior, and it drives well. not very powerful, but fun and responsive to drive. genuinely a pleasure to own and drive

I have the silver 2020 CX-30. I love it. The perfect size. I live in South Florida and have had the car since Nov 2020. I have only seen about 10 since I bought mine. Not sure why cause it looks great and the interior feels and looks like a luxury car. The drive is so smooth. I want to have my rims wrapped in black and with the black cladding should look awesome ! Where I live in Australia there’s soo many Mazda. I see a lot of Mazda 3, CX3, CX30, CX5. These ones are popular. It’s a common brand.

I live in the north, and the plastic at the bottom of the frame is the best invention for me since the sliced bread. It protects the bottom frame to begin to rust after 5 winters.

First off, I would like to say that Hann you are the Mann! LOL In the USA we have the 2021 Turbo Premium Plus Package, All Wheel Drive version for around $35,225 US dollars. 2.5L I4 Turbocharged Dual overhead cam 16V 227 horsepower,
Thank you! Now that’s probably the highest spec the CX-30 can go, sadly we currently do not have that option here. Must be quite punchy with it being AWD and having a turbo! 👍🏻
The hud display also shows when cars are beside you too 😊

I just bought my new 2021 CX-30 and I love it. Perfect height and the way it looks in person is amazing. I didn't get the high level but only the lowest level because that's all I can afford from my budget.

What's the difference between the high and the lowest level?
@@angelwonderland281 The high end has other features: sunroof, side mirror fold in, separate A/C control for driver and passenger, torque, FWD or AWD, power hatch, and there's more. I didn't care for all those features all I wanted was a good price.

side cladding should be sticking out a bit to serve as bumper so cx30 wont get scratched or dented in case someone next to you open their door in tight spaces

I've been in love with this car since it first came out. I don't care about speed, power, fuel economy or even safety features. I just LOVE the design and the attention to detail to make this car really a car enthusiast's dream in terms of driving pleasure. Will get mine in 2 days!!!

This car and the CX-5 is my favorites among Mazda's line of SUVs. The design of the cx-30 is really cool inside and outside that slooping roof line is my favorite part it look like a mini Porsche Maccan to me😂😂😂😂🏎🏎🏎

@Prime Artemis that is great! I love mine and I’m a slim, tall man. The seats are a little hard to me tho. The CX-30 feels great inside. You should try it out sometime. The back seat is tight tho. Great for 2 small kids. No head room for taller adults or teenagers.

@@WhenHannMeetsCars yes I do! From 2008 Mazda 6 to a couple of Mazda 3’s, a pre owned 2007 CX-7 and a CX-9. They are fun efficient and affordable.

My parents left American cars in 1989 and almost bought Honda Accord but Honda didn’t discount and my parents went to try Mazda and love the 89’ Mazda 626- they started buy them one after another. I grew up with them having Miatas and a Protege and a MPV van then more 626’s. To me, the Miata is a blast! Best balanced little sports car. I think the Mazda 6 is a sexy sedan in Titanium Flash Mica paint with good wheels & window tint. But it seems Mazda is giving the United States a break from the 6 for 2022.

How far back can the 2nd row recline? Planning to buy but my parents need a comfortable recline too.
The fog lights look fantastic and all but once got hit because my indicator was allegedly off but it was on the driver did not see it as usually they observe the upper part of the car had a dashcam so the sound of the indicator ois what helped me

Hi, thanks for a great video on CX30 with lots of info! I m keen on this car but disappointed that, despite being a CBU from Japan itself, it does not have a 360 deg view camera and there is no built in navigation (as compared to the CKD CX5).
Hi! Thanks for sharing your opinion, you’re absolutely right with the 360 camera and built-in GPS, because for its price it should come as standard. Apart from that, this car just looks and feels premium!

Hi there! Thank you for the kind words. For the time being the only confirmed one on 2023 would be the CX-50 that is based on the CX-5. Not sure if they’ll ever release a newer version of the CX-9. I would say just go for it or you might have to wait for quite some time!

Plastic cladding is great if you live in Canada, where they salt the streets in winter... the plastic cladding can prevent the aggressive development of rust.
the back seats are quite spacious, not as bad as people review!
Engine cover also got cupholders!
Damm the steering wheel is damm neat!

It really depends actually, if you’re tight on budget then I would suggest the low spec since it’s still a CX-30 anyways. But if you’re up for it, the LED headlights, tailights and the brown interior on the high spec looks really premium!

They say the 2020/21 Mazda Bt 50 isn't Mazda enough but I think if they put in that infotainment system half would love it and the other half would complain it's not ute-y enough and too much like an SUV. Could've mixed and matched the seat colouring and theme contrast too in the BT-50. Brown nappa leather looks nice in this but not everyone is a fan of the brown leather seats in the GT model.
Hi Gerard! To me, just the fact that Mazda is producing a pick-up truck is good enough! And the interior actually looks pretty decent as compared to other competitors in the same segment out there! But yes i got to agree with you it would look much better with the infotainment and seat colourings from the CX-30. I guess they didn’t do that as the price would increase significantly, which wouldn’t make sense for pick-up. Thanks anyways for commenting! 🙏🏻
@@WhenHannMeetsCars I like Mazda designs and the grill on the CX-9 and I'm looking for a ute to do the odd job on the farm. Then boom, Mazda ute. Pretty damn happy with that. I believe the BT50 is more Mazda than the X-Class was Mercedes in the inside but at the same time, could've pushed a little more- hence my comment about people thinking it's too SUV for a ute. I'd be happy picking up one though.

Hi Ian! Glad to hear you’re from Indonesia, it depends actually. If the size capacity in terms of boot space or legroom doesn’t matter much to you, then CX-30 would be the choice to go for! But to be fair the space CX-30 offers is more than enough for most people. The only reason I would go for the CX-5 is the higher view out on the roads like a proper SUV 👍🏻

For the colour, I would definitely go for machine gray but with your choice I would go for the polymetal gray 👍🏻 Mazda CX-30 if you want comfortable driving, Mazda 3 if you want a more sporty feel

Does the Mazda come with power seats?
Hi! Sadly only the driver side has power seat, the passenger side doesn’t have it.
Reviewers complain about rear legroom but at 36.8" its the same as my Altima Im trading in for a 2.5 S preferred and my Altima rear seat is fine. The Maxima only has 34" and they never complain about its rear seat?

Hi! Only the high spec will come equipped with the power tailgate feature. The AC for mine works just fine! Yes cause we’re not too far apart haha.
