  • Acclamations Carolingiennes, from Suite Médiévale en forme de messe basse, op. 56, written in 1950 by the French organist composer Jean LANGLAIS (1907-1991). The musical theme is an old latin melody "Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat".
Jean Langlais was blind. He was organiste of the famous Cavaillé-Coll of the Basilica of Sainte-Clotilde in Paris.
