If you go to Samsung's website you'll find they are more then willing to finance your items for you. Even accessories. The fold.. the spen with that special case and 3 year warranty are averaging just 50 dollars a month for 36. $75 if you wanna pay off faster. No I don't work for Samsung. 🙂. HTH

Spending $1800 USD on a phone is ridiculous, but with trade-in promotions, the cost is 💰 money well spent.

When Blackberry was new in India (perhaps in 2007-08, not sure about exact year) there was an editorial column in The Hindu about whether the Indian society was ready to spend 35000 rs on a phone..Now we have phones costing more than 1.5 lakh!!

Were you guys using new camera gear or something? the color looked off. The product shots and the shots where Ershad was talking had really different color profiles.
Edit: I saw it again on a more color-accurate display and that improved it a fair bit.

everyone is saying that other phones have a udc and it's better so why samsung couldn't do well no there is no foldable phone that has a udc and has better quality then the fold 3. yes there is a regular phone that has udc and is better but thats cause it's not using the same kind of glass as a udc.

As someone who is using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G i still feel they missed a crucial issue with the fold itself. You see the front screen is too narrow and this is all my personal opinion after using my Z fold 2 for 6 months now. The front screen is too narrow causing apps to have aspect ratio problems. When unfolded not every app is set up for a smooth continuous experience thus causing apps to now be enlarged too much as again it is not for that screen ratio. This all can be fixed with software updates no doubt. My biggest complaint is Instagram amongst other apps for example. The experience is seamless from front cover to when unfolded but when you take a photo for your story for example whilst unfolded, anyone viewing what you uploaded comes out too zoomed. If the same photo is taken and uploaded whilst the z fold 2 is closed with the front screen its in the correct aspect ratio. I do have the samsung goodlock app which gives greater flexibility to tweak the software but again the hardware is still not there. For the Z fold 4, the front primary screen needs enlarging to the width of a regular candy bar design phone. I switched from my note 10 plus 5G to the Z Fold2 5G and have not looked back. Sure the fold design is an absolute game changer but the software has not caught up yet. If the Z fold series is to continue the mantle of the Note series, this issue needs rectifying for the next unveil including an integrated S pen slot how the note series has. Then can you have the fold series as a complete power house which can multi task unlike anything. Credit to Samsung for integrating water resistance. This has been my fear ever since switching from my Note 10 Plus but again I've had to be extra cautious. I do wish Samsung releases the personalisation experience they gave with the Z fold 2 where you could customise the colour of your hinge. I personally opted for the Gold colour hinge with the black colour and it turns heads and rightly so considering its almost a £2000 device. I do wish the experience for the Z fold owner would be exclusive how it was when the original Galaxy fold was launched. Samsung was very generous providing wireless buds and this should continue considering customers are forking out upto £1799. The upgrade programme is very good from Samsung however the game changer for me would be if Samsung made the hinge illuminate or even the Samsung letters illuminate somehow when folded obviously to allow users to know when a notification has come through. We saw this introduced from the game changing Galaxy S6 Edge but slowly faded out over time.
If anyone else is a Z fold 2 user, please share your thoughts on your experience so far. This is something i will share on my CZcams channel as well. If you read this far, I hope you get to experience how revolutionary the fold design is. Be sure to subscribe. Peace ✌

This is what happens when a company loses touch with its customers. They live in the same bubble as the reviewers do . They listen to the reviewers who lives in the same bubble as themselves and lose touch with the people who have to use and purchase the product with their own money and live with it every single day. The consumers don't live in the same bubble financially or environmentally . 2 thousand dollars is just out of reach for most consumers , especially something that's not used in the same environment as the others. Samsung has lost touch firstly with its S line this year and now the foldables just prove my point about losing touch .

There are Ferraris and there are fiats. There are Rolexes and there are Casios. There are folds and there are basic brick phones. Nobody is asking every consumer to buy Ferraris, Rolexes or folds. Its a niche phone for a particular group same as other niche products. Just because it also work as a phone does not mean it is a common product for everyone. It is like a Tesla among cars. You buy it only if you can afford it and fascinated by some evolving technology with some compromises of experimentation. That's how technology evolves and that's how market works. Samsung itself has 10s and 10s of models in all price ranges!
