    He is a good example of a jumper. I was unsure of jumpers but he is clearly overdoing Te and Se of finding new ideas and sharing them with the tribe but not understanding the abstract power that he has of Ni and Fi of actually influencing the tribe. Doubly extroverted people seem to struggle a lot with introspection.

    Me, an INTP, doing a simple video game livestream that only my family will watch: [Buys a boom microphone, downloads and configures streaming and audio mixing software for hours, etc. Streams a couple of times and never uses all that stuff again.]
    Joe Rogan, a famous ENTJ, broadcasting a video that the world will see: "Ah, it's nice outside. Let's just do this."
    Not to say that it's bad for him to make a vlog in this way. On the contrary, it's amazing that he's making an impromptu video that conveys so much information.

      Yeah, I also think that he is ESTP. Te is about understanding how people react to certain situation. He would understand perfectly why did he get into trouble for COVID stuff. All those things that he listed as "not true" were not banned because people believed that it is not true. It was to stop Ti people to come to wrong conclusions as they tend to. Because Ti people are right that there is conspiracy to control them. And all Te people are in it

    I watched a clip of Joe Rogan after the Will Smith slap incident (so maybe it was taken out context) but he was talking about how people who have such celebrity status get removed from reality and how much power they have within society and I remember watching it being like... okay but can't you see that that is what people are saying about you and your conversations on Covid? Now i understand that no he is in fact not making that connection and it makes for some beautiful irony.

      I really appreciated this insight because this has been my experience with Te-Se M/M. From the outside we can get really frustrated, viewing it as they don't think the rules apply to them. But they just don't have the level of introspection to see they're even breaking their own rules.

    How you mistyped Joe Rogan ENTJ? He's a rare sub-type of ESTP (TiNi). The valued Fe is kind of obvious.

    • @seabeejg
      @seabeejg Před rokem

      They have mistyped him as an ESTP for years. He's ENTJ. His Fe comes out when he's mad or is questioning about how other treat people, indicative of Fe demon. Fe is on an axis with his Te hero. No ESTP is going to be intrigued by Bob Lazar, an INTP, without calling him ridiculous. Te critic would never be such a great host when it comes to picking the brains of others. They will be consistently far more negatively critical of everyone's thoughts. We all have Fe and use it in ways that can seem more valued. I am Fe trickster and I can display value for Fe if I chose to. Plus, he's in the entertainment business, which can distort or professionally shape character.

    I dont want to be negative but have to, if you are gonna make up your own personality theory dont label it with mbti terms, you have an interesting approach to "mbti" which makes the topic become highly controversial. I have been seeing you guys type people very wrongly in real "mbti terms", but label them with "mbti terms" or "jungian typology terms", which is somewhat understandable but it has nothing to do with mbti or jungian typology. It makes sense in your world and in your typology system, but most of people dissregard your system since you call it mbti when it has almost nothing to do with it. The animals are okay for themselves, combining it with mbti to support your conclusions and cherry picking jungian typologys sentences to manipulate the words in your favor, where he mentioned there might be more than 16 types, and now claiming you found them, just shows how far you can bend things and do mental gymnastics to prove your point. I get this channel is profit oriented and its fine, i just think this is becoming ridiculous. Most people know what type joe rogan is because they can see the typical mbti Se-Ti-Fe stack in him but here come these 2 who twist his words and cherrypick them and type another person wrong, claiming joe has Te instead of Fe, and doesnt have Ti but Fi, like what is going on? you guys are far deep down the rabbit hole but i think you are just lost at this point And yes if people want to find out more pay the 60$ a month to get access to a system thats not mbti or jungian typology in the firstplace... i think talking with famous people interview with dave was right, the dude misstyped himself how wouldnt he misstype other people, and is too narcisistic to be wrong about it

    • @findingninno2
      @findingninno2 Před rokem +8

      Unfortunately, I think that the problem is that different people have different definitions for each of the cognitive functions. For example, many people agree with them that Shan is an ENTJ, but there are also many people who understandably believe that she is an ENFJ, because they have a different definition in their head of what Fe is. This is, in part, why so many people are skeptical of MBTI, because not everyone has a consistent way of understanding the cognitive functions.

      @@drewmason2593 It is intended to be objective, but it isn't. Even if it was objective (meaning the community succeeds in aligning their subjectivity with the subjectivity of D&S), that wouldn't automatically mean it's valid. The whole "objective" typing thing is just a marketing ploy.

    • @DYKWINNING
      @DYKWINNING Před rokem +1

      @@Darren_S Its objective in the sense that there is a concrete standard for deciding the type, a standard everyone can see and use.
      Two people can be in separate rooms, use the "standard" and come to the same conclusion more often than not.
      OPS is a separate system that borrows Jungian/mbti terminology.

    • @DYKWINNING
      @DYKWINNING Před rokem

      Is it possible you have confirmation bias? They created this system because people talk past each other in type discussion. Joe may be an ESTP in MBTI. If you cant show someone the math how you got there, your opinion about his type is meh. OPS is trying to get everyone on the same page, so everyone can do typology. Big deal if their version of ENTJ is mbti's version of ESTP. If IIRC they charge $19/ month.

    • @SimpleAmadeus
      @SimpleAmadeus Před rokem +11

      If he's an ENTJ jumper, that means he's Te first and Se second. That puts him in the ST quadrant, with extraverted deciding (which mbti people call E when they see it), and extraverted observing (which mbti people call P when they see it). You're basically agreeing on what you see, it's just that the mbti encoding is a total self-contradicting mess, and has too few letters to paint the full picture. I've noticed that, in their stereotypes, the mbti "community" has placed all the sleep-first behaviors into the IJ category, and all the play-first behaviors into the EP category. This makes it a little more useful than the original definitions, but you do lose the distinction between primary and secondary functions in the process. When you try to get them back, you enter a world of confusion of "oh maybe they're that other type after all". Objective Personality figured out what the real distinctions are and how to encode them sensibly.
