  • Hello everybody! In today’s video I share with you how I make my eco dyeing papers using rust, pickled beetroot juice and orange peel water. First part of the video is a tutorial, and in it, I explain how I do it, and what I used to create these prints. After that, I reveal the papers and we go through all the prints and compare them to another set of prints I created using only rust. In the end I show you some of the things I created with these papers. Enjoy!

so much inspiration and great creations...you are amazing...thanks for sharing...I liked these the best....of the 2 videos...but both are awesome. I read somewhere that if we use an aluminum pan when dying the color will be different than if in glass or plastic.....I think it was from a lady who works with all kinds of mordants and dyes cloth as well as paper...I'm still gathering info from all of you...so I can then decide how I will best proceed.

I lay the papers on some plastic bags flat on the floor or over the bed and leave them like that until they dry. Sometimes it takes only a few hours, sometimes longer. Depends of the temperature in the house. I don't put them in direct sunlight. When they're dry I stack them and put heavy book on top until I'm ready to use them. 😊
