    Are the deliveries consistent? From the first part the video when it was on medium it looked like the ball delivery was varied??

    Really enjoyed this video. Found it very informative. Just wondered what your thoughts are on the Heater Slider and Paceman 176 machines. Out of these and the Speed Buddy, which would you go for?

      Good morning,
      Hope you are well? Thanks for the e-mail, and thank you for the feedback regard the content, much appreciated.
      We have stocked a mixture of Ball feeder machines in the past few years; and have certainly found recently the Speed Buddy to be robust, and a good all-round product in terms of feed, pace and consistency etc.
      All three bits of kit that you have highlighted would be good options for you in terms of offering a useable training aid, with the Speed Buddy and Paceman options standing out as better choices in terms of quality.
      Hope that helps.
      Kind regards,
      Serious Cricket

    The camera angle could have been better to give us an actual idea of the speed and swing. All we saw was a batsman.

    That is something I would really like for the youngster , just one , concern is it looked to bowl the ball a bit slow. would you know if it bowls it at the speed of a 13 yr old good bowler or is it possibly a bit slower than that

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  Před rokem +3

      Hi Jason, on the medium and high setting, the ball travels well over 22 yards and would think this would be an ideal pace for 13-year-olds to practice against! Another thing to consider is that you can always reduce the distance from 22 yards - this will make the ball come on more quickly and reduce the reaction times for batters, making it more challenging.

      @@SeriousCricketTV thanks for the reply , maybe that video looks a bit deceptive , cause it looks very slow . What im trying to achieve with him is to stop this instinct to jump away out of line when its thrown a bit harder . im looking for something that is fairly fast but will pitch in the same spot over and over . The thinking is if i can get him to begin padding up to those balls he will see he wont get hurt or rather his more likely to get hurt not getting in line . Do you think this bowling device would be able to do that .Does it maybe say anywhere on the box as to what speed it leaves the machine at ? Once again thanks for great videos and advice P.S as im writing this im thinking to myself it needs to be fast enough that it will activate that instinct to jump away

      @@SeriousCricketTV hope im not breaking the rules or something , but also totally unrelated to the bowling machine . where can i get one of those cricket balls with the finger markings on the for the younsters to learn how to grip the ball in order to learn how to bowl the different types of balls

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  Před rokem +1

      Am not sure buying a machine is going to help here. He needs to feel comfortable playing the ball first and then you can throw or bowl at him faster. On the front foot and back foot, start by throwing tennis balls, then incredi-balls and then when he feels more comfortable move on to cricket balls. Unfortunately, it doesn’t say on the box what speed it leaves the machine at.
