Very helpful video! Glad i found it 🤘 i have an Rmax and seemed to have the same questions
You bet, happy to help. Thanks for watching.
Hey Randy from Pa. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. Appreciate the information. I know what direction I am going in now. Thanks again
You bet buddy, happy to help you out. 👍🏼
Always good to hear about reviews above tires thanks
Yes sir, thanks for watching buddy!
Great point Brian, proper tire pressure is the key. Using a quality pressure gauge will be a great tool to keep on the unit. I have seen so many trucks with the incorrect tire pressure. The first thing people will say is the tire rides like crap. Thanks for point this out.
Thanks G-Man!👍🏼
Thanks for the information
Yes sir… 👍🏼
Great video, great information.
Thank you my friend! 👍🏼
As far as a 26inch atv tire I believe the rock-a-billy has it. 👍🤛😎
I have no regrets on the Trail Saws so far. Wife has them on her rzr and I have them on my KRX. KRX has 32s on factory wheels and measure about 31.5". We ride trails, road, rock and some mud when we can't by pass. I agree with Brian on running square and rotating tires. You will get more life out of your tire.
Thanks for your feedback Nate!
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!👍🏼
Same with itp tires. I wanted to replace the 25” ATV tires with one size bigger Put on 26” which were the same size as the 25” oem tires. Then I got 27” tires
Hey Brian, love your videos, because of you I learned a lot about the 50 inch Maverick Trail DPS 1000. I purchased 2021 triple black one last year. I’m not mechanically inclined like you, so I had the dealer add on all Can Am parts up to approximately 30 accessories. I have a question for you not about the tires, but about one of the videos you did on the power flip windows for the maverick trail which I had installed, when I seen your video explaining the different windows you can purchase. I live up in the mountains in northern Idaho i’ve been mostly just driving on hard surfaces asphalt etc. and some dirt roads, I only have 900 miles on the vehicle my question is on the power flip window, I noticed that the window was going up crooked and then I had to lower it back down and then open it back up to Straighten it back out again, then Recently it was just hard to open and then the other day it worked where it went up, have you noticed any problems like this with all of your experience with side-by-side with the power flip window and if so, what do you think it could be. Thank you so much for your time sir.
Hey Tedd, I would say the cylinders are out of calibration. That should have been done during the powerflip install. It’s been a while since I put one in but I think if you un hook them from the windshield and cycle them in and out a couple times they should sync up. We have 14 of the powerflips coming for our rentals, love that windshield! Thanks for watching my friend!
The downsize of TS is no 32*14,also the weight kind a bummer compared to RB
Hey Brian, ever run the system 3s, if so, how do you feel they compare to the Sedonas, mainly ride Hatfield, Windrock, etc, thanks for any info.
Hey @Bulldog, sorry buddy I’ve never run the system 3’s.
Brian, how often/what interval do you rotate your tires?
Depends on the tire I’m running and terrain, if I see the front tires starting to cup at all I’ll rotate them. On our rentals as soon as we see the tires starting to wear in the rear or cup in the front we rotate them. It’s not like your truck where it’s a set mileage. I have a video in the works about this topic, I even videoed some tires on the front of one of our rentals that are starting to cup.
Are the trail saw’s a D.O.T. rated tire? I believe the rock a billy is, so I’m thinking the trail saw would be as well. Enjoy your videos, thanks.
Hey Bob, there is no legal DOT Off-Road tire, some of them say DOT compliant in their fine print but DOT does not recognize a low psi tire as being street legal. I personally called some of the manufacturers that say their tires are DOT legal, they told me it’s up to the customer to check their local laws to see if their tires are legal to run, in other words, a low psi tire is NOT street legal nation wide.
Sedona does not offer a street legal tire, some manufacturers like Sedona or Maxxis will have the letters DOT on the side wall but that is an internal code for them, and some of the molds used to make Off-Road tires already have that in because they make street tires with the same mold. It is very confusing because a lot of the manufacturers mislead people by saying their tire is street legal.
about to get new tires for the x3. I ride Windrock and all east TN trails. I've had the trail saws as my last tire, how do you compare these to rockzillas? Never had a set of the zillas but have had the trail saws and they work great. Would you say they are similar or are the zillas better?
I’m a fan of the Trail Saw over the Zilla’s. The TS is a low air psi tire with a solid Karkus, the Zilla gave us a little more slip than grip in wet rocky hill climb conditions. Have fun at Windrock! 👍🏼
Which Sedona tire do you recommend for out west in winter ? Lots of snow, mud and rock.
We’ve been running the Ridge Saw and they’ve been doing great (mud, sandy trails, hard pack, roads, etc.). We don’t have snow in TN so not sure about that one.
How do you like the trail saws now that you have had more time on them.
The trail saws have been a great tire! We average 6K miles out of them on our rentals. Testing the Ridge Saw tires now, that tire should last about 8K miles.
so you run all trail saws on your fleet?
We tn a mix of Trail Saws & Ridge Saws.
What are your thoughts 10 months later? I'm looking for new tires for my RMAX.
The Trail Saw has been a phenomenal tire, excellent all around tire, we're getting 6K-7K miles out of them. The Ridge Saw is a little better than the Trail Saw, that tire is a very robust tire that you'll get 8K-9K miles out of. We ride everything from hard roads, dirt roads and muddy trails. We also sell them, shoot us an email to info@fishersoffroad.com and we'll get you a price drop shipped to your door.
@FISHER’S OFF-ROAD thanks! The Ridge Saw is worth the weight increase over the rockabilly and Trail Saw then?
@@ryandearing60 absolutely! 👍🏼
Anybody still ride quads?
Absolutely! The SXS/UTV market is the biggest part anymore though. They’re outsell quads 9-1.
A service mechanic told me people are going back to atvs
