Klay is just the most chill guy in sports. He is a historically great shooter who seems content to play second fiddle to the greatest shooter God has ever created. It takes a different mindset and humility to be able to do that. I loved his message to Vanessa and the girls. His parents should be very proud of the young man they’ve raised.
Klay may be second fiddle but he has as big of a green light as Curry. Often times in the playoffs , klay outplays Curry while Curry plays the role of the playmaker depending on how the game goes. For example, klay had two 30 bombs in the closeout games against the mavs and Grizzlies. Made 8 threes and shot zero free throws in both games.

Klay is becoming the most loved player in the nba. You just can’t root against this guy
He's a special kind of dude, a different kind of player. It's been a privilege watching him as a Bay Area native and a lifelong Dubs fan, and it's truly heartening to see him getting love and respect from fans of every different team in the Association.
100% agree that it's impossible to root against Klay, and the Dubs and Dub Nation are lucky to have him period, and extra lucky to have him back after those terrible injuries in something like his old form.

My mother passed last February 2021 from a long fight against cancer. Klay was her favorite. I know she watched every single minute of this championship season. Her watching Klay's return from wherever she is now I swear I could hear her giddy laugh in her Jamaican accent "Go Klay baby!"

I am so happy your mom had an outlet & something that gave her joy through the days that I’m sure were physically & emotionally exhausting. This hit home for me. Thank you for sharing. Klay was not 100% this season and he knows it. What are you talking about? They absolutely could have. His humility and acknowledgment of how privileged he is… was 100% spot on 💯. Steph, Dray, coach Kerr and the team carried him, believed in him while he struggled to get his confidence and rhythm back. There were times when he should have been benched for Kuminga or Kerr could have given more play time to Poole.
And in the end, when they won; they never slighted Klay but chose to lift him up equally with the team. What Steph and Dray did was the epitome of “Am I my brothers’ keeper?” Their actions kept the Splash Brothers together. Outstanding character and integrity these guys have! Go DUBS ❤️best NBA 🏀franchise and team EVER.

Anyways he helped the team in cold moments in the court and he made his teammates better just with this presence on the bench

Regardless being out of the game for 2 and a 1/2 years and battling back to help Golden State win a championship is definitely inspiring. Idk if you’ve seen what rehab was like for him but you should check it out. To go from not walking at all to NBA champion again is definitely inspiring in my book.

One of my close friends went to Jr High an HS with him. Said he was a hyper competitive guy in a very chill, laid-back, friendly way. Some people might be a bit odd, but Klay is just authentic, and it's always nice to hear that some celebrity or athlete is actually as cool, friendly, and decent in real life as they appear to be in media.

His playoff performances were kinda mid but what do you expect from someone who was out for 2 years and comes back to play in the playoffs to the highest degree.
@@Johenz im biased, but agree lol. For me, we watched Klay bounce back before. We watched the Warriors win before. Not many times a 4-12 team goes to the Superbowl the next year. Burrow helped with that. Got to get the ball the rest after all. Plus he did all that while being sacked a record time, and a record time in the playoffs. With that being said, not mad with any of the candidates
@@Johenz your forgetting he had not just ACL but Achilles , which is the most devastating Injury to come back from for bball players. Over 2 years away. Comes back and helps his team win is by far more impressive. Burrow did have an amazing comeback , but ACL isn’t as devastating as Achilles.

All heart tells you everything you need to know about how to overcome adversity and come back in life. This man had to rehab for over 2 years. Humbly only mentions the ACL injury but he also injured his Achilles which meant another long rehab before he had even finished the first one. Years ago nobody came back to the same heights after either of those injuries, so medical science is a thing, but so is perseverance, needing to draw inspiration from others, and never giving up on your goals. Celtics fan here gives all props to Klay as a key part of the heart and soul of those champion Golden State Warriors. Giving back love and inspiration to the Bryant family was a very cool thing to do.
Klay, you might be a “shadow” in a few one’s book but you well deserved your to be the main character in your own as well. You have done enough to be the narrator trust me !
