Fourze is just the definition of execution over complexity, it's truly wonderful. A small thing I really appreciate is how you see Gentaro become friends with the entire school over time, every episode there's a new person or group who're saying hello or helping him out, feels like he is genuinely making connections when we're not watching him and reinforces that promise of becoming friends with everyone.
Yeah, the show has what I call. Sunset overdrive energy. This is when a piece of entertainment is meant to be fun rather than have a story
TLDR: I was a really brooding and self-hating kid back in my high school years until Fourze showed me the light again and changed me into a person who can look forwards and keep going.
You know, around the time I was watching Fourze was during my senior year of high school. Let me tell you, that feeling of journeying through high school with Fourze by my side is absolutely unforgettable.
As a show, I have my problems with Fourze, though it is far from the worst, nor I don’t think it’s even bad. However, the impact that Gentaro and the Kamen Rider Club left on me as a teen makes an important moment for me.
During my time in high school, I was an utter mess. Back in middle school, I hung out with the wrong group of people and had committed some actions that I’m not proud of what so ever. And when I entered high school, I opened my eyes to everything around me, including the bad influences and acts of horror I committed. The guilt I harbored couldn’t be measured or expressed even if I wanted to, so much so that I wanted to kill myself for my naivety and awful actions.
As a result, I spent most of my days of high school alone, shameful, as well as resentful. In addition to my guilt, I began to feel angry about how certain people can act like pompous assholes while pushing around others. All of these factors constantly invaded and engulfed my mind to the point where I believed that the world holds no good and that everything was a lie. It got even worse when my sophomore and junior years were affected by Covid-19 as I stayed in my home, feeling like I was going insane. It may sound like I’m just being pathetic, but even though I am over exaggerating the whole thing, the guilt from my past self and the dark thoughts I accumulated really did affect not only my self esteem, but also aggression. I still remember to this day the times where I would throw myself into a mental breakdown over all of this.
As I went into my senior year, I thought nothing will change and I believed that I was going to be heading into a world of evil. However, that was also the time I was starting to rediscover my love for tokusatsu, and during my senior year, I found Kamen Rider Fourze. Through all of the darkness I encased myself in, there comes along this innocent show about friendship and fighting bad guys. At first, I thought this was all nonsense, but I continued watching anyways.
I kept watching the show, and even through my rejections, I had a deep resonation with it. I couldn’t help but give out a smile when I see Gentaro and the Kamen Rider Club having fun and adventuring to new heights. And just like that, I slowly started to forget about the “evil” world I lived in and focus on just the type of things friendship can accomplish. Even when things looked very bleak and hopeless, they never gave up as they continued to be a symbol of hope in the dark. I then looked back on my world as I saw a whole different vision, a vision in which I could see hope for humanity. And when I got done finishing Fourze, I was not only left crying because of the finale, but I was now left with a feeling of determination and hope.
Fourze has taught me that even when you fall down, you can always get back on your feet and continue to climb higher than before, and that there may be moments of darkness in our world, but light will never vanish and will always shine so long as I remain hopeful.
And now that I’m graduated, I can safely say that I have graduated not as the self-loathing and grumpy loser I once was, but as a kid who never gives up even if he has fallen multiple times, and none of that could have been accomplished if I didn’t have this journey with Fourze. In an essence, Fourze has pretty much changed my life for the better, and I will always be grateful to the people behind the scenes who effortlessly worked to the very end to make all of us smile.
Being in high school can't be that bad. Wait till you get out in the Real world and have all the responsibilities that come with it. Good luck. Ya gonna need it
Now this is a story

To be fair to wizard with the number theory, wizard has 5 “element” forms; fire, water, earth, wind and light, with beast’s chimera being a combo of 5 animals; lion, buffa, chameleo, falco and dolphi
Gaim’s (did gaim come after wizard? I forgot.) lockseeds when ‘unlocked’ somewhat resemble a 6
When Kengo died and said to forgive the chairman because the kamen Rider club were not the type of people to hold grudges made me cry.
As I said Fourze was the show that was really needed in a time when Japan was not a good place. If it wasn't for Fourze and Gokaiger then the kids wouldn't have anything to look forward to.
Thx tokusatsu thx for being awesome and still making us happy for all these years and the years come toku forever

Everytime Gentaro lifts his arms when he's transformed I say "Let's Rocket"
I can imagine the voice that says "335" in the background except it's saying "321"
If Gentaro could be friend's with Shin then I have a feeling if Gentaro ended up in Kamen Rider Amazons he could probably just fix everything through the power of friendship.
I dipped my toes into Kamen Rider with Kabuto... But made the leap with Fourze.
It's corny, but this is the show that saved my life. I was in a bad way a few years ago, looking for something. And then I tripped on Kamen Rider through gifs and reactions. More I watched Kamen Rider, more I found answers. Hell, wishing I could be like Seiji Takaiwa led me to getting into physical fitness and training, into pro wrestling.
I get where you're coming from, Marco. To this day, I can't understand people who don't like this show.
Aye, I hear ya lol. Kamen rider is a gr8 show for inspiration, the past 2 years I've been binging it and I'm pretty happy again and steadily gettin back in shape n out of the slump I was in. good luck to ya :)
Fourze has one of my favourite endings in all of kamen rider aside from Drive and Build because of how they defeat the chairman using the core themes of the season. Fourze is one of my favourite seasons in kamen rider for playing off the theme of friendship so well. Definitely recommend.
What makes meteor fusion states so cool is it's violet.
For those who play Yugi-Oh, you will know that Fusion monsters are color coded violet.
Plus points.
I’m going to say something about that statement never let it go. Sometimes it’s good to let go and sometimes it’s not. There are things in this world that we may need to forget but I think this world we should remember in order to become better. The key is balance. Remember that. Also, speaking of never letting go even when we meet our destination, I just graduated high school and I say I have no destination. My path is infinite. And I will walk it eternally.
fourze is gotta be my fav kamen rider season, i was in highschool when this aired, and as someone who don't have much friends this show encourage me to make more friends and found friends who also like the show.
Recently finished this one with a friend, we absolutely loved this, may be very simple, but that helps it feel right.
This just looks like my type of show. Friendship is such an awesome theme and inspiring af.
This is the first Kamen Rider that made me cry literally.
When they all red the latter from Kengo, that when I started crying 😭
Marvelous and Tsukasa plan is far too complex for you to understand
Could've sworn you already reviewed this....
....so I'll rewatch it again.
Fourze is high tier. I'm surprised there wasn't more attention brought about Fourze's transformation sequence being like a rocket ship launch sequence. Set up firm legs/base, flip switches to prime launch sequence, count down sequence, pulling the lever to blast off, right arm lifting up into the air like a rocket with smoke forming at the bottom. And to top it all off, "It's Space Time!" Stretches the limbs out like a star or even the Big Bang (since Gentarou curls up into a ball once in the suit).
This one and Ryuki's transformations are my favorites.
I thought I would dislike the season because I also wasn't a huge fan of the helmet, but I ended up loving it so much! The characters are great, the story is fun, and even the movies are perfection for my standards. To be fair, I really love all of the Heisei seasons but Fourze is definitely in my top 7 probably.
It was a nice serie... I didn't like the school life or the costumes at the beginning but in the end I enjoyed this more than I thought . And the song " saite " is soooooo beautiful I was almost jealous of their graduation ceremony.
Seeing Ichigo with the Deca Driver is actually a really neat thing to see.
i followed your advice of watching the last episodes of fourze myself, and i gotta say, first rider show to make me cry during the ending, not even W or blade could make me cry, so thanks, and fourze? 29/10.
Litterly It Came Out On My Birthday After just finishing it. Thank you Marcos
I freaking love Fourze sooooooooo much
The opener for the final episode made me tear up something fierce. Y'all know what I'm talking about!
Oh man oh Man I was OBSESSED with Fourze a while back !
So obsessed I got the Fourze Driver and almost every Astro switch I could get my hands on.
But today, Fourze is just as much my favorite as all the other riders .
*has all my Fourze toys*
Pretty sure Shun is a reference to Stronger, since they are both football players, while Gen is a reference to Ichimonji Hayato.
Great work, Marcosatsu! Movie Megamax is a masterpiece of Toku fun. The Fourze series is a gem I only recently discovered.
Finally my favorite Kamen rider! I really love fourze gentaro is the kinda person I really like watching. yeah friendship being power is a huge cheesy motif- but its one I am absolutely into- as a big yugioh fan I was destined to love fourze the most- Gentaro is overpowered- he comes in makes friends with everyone no matter what. you cant lose like that. XD
Was literally rewatching this, went to bed, woke up and it was gone
Can't wait til you get to Zero-One. I'm actually very curious about your thoughts on the season are.
Honestly fourze is my first and favorite rider show i love its so much i watched at a pretty dark time in my life and it really helped me through
Im not even gonna lie. Kamen Rider W, Kamen Rider OOO, Kamen Rider Fourze all had me thoroughly sobbing in each series. Especially the Fourze movie. And the ending. Fourze while being my second favorite of all the shows I've seen so far (OOO is my favorite) Fourze is my biggest comfort show.
One thing I wanted to say about Mega Max. I have a bit of a special connection with the film since it streamed on the toei toku channel during Hurricane Ida and my family and I were left in the blackout with our streets flooded for a few days.
I used the few times i could maintain a 5g connection to watch that film and it did help my in the situation mentally.
Dude Fourze is my jam and it really helped me look forward to growing up
Someone: (breaths)
Gentaro: *NEW FRIEND?*
That one dislike i see is definetely from Toei
I can believe that because toei is doing stupid things I mean don't they want other country to know about there shows
Wait, didn’t he already post this?
Meh, oh well, UCHUUUU KITAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Yeees I love this one thanks so much for making this
Gentarou is pretty much the embodiment of a persons life. Sometimes you hate him, sometimes you love him.
Reupload or not this is another banger of a video!
Ah, got hit with copyright, I see. Had to replace the intro
Well thanks to your videos I decided to get into Kamen Rider so I started with a Kamen Rider you haven't covered yet so I can do a blind watch Ex-Aid and so far I'm sucked in metaphorically and Literally because by far this season is becoming my first season for Kamen Rider though I will admit I am gonna be interested in 2 you covered earlier Wizard and Build later on after I finish Ex-Aid
I love wizard honestly, the characters, Nitou aka beast in general, the music and the possibilities of its summer movie being shown in other side stories like maybe a movie about the world of magic in the wizard movie. Plus it was the first show I watched sort of blind since I knew some plot points prior to watching it but I was still surprised by some of the other plot points, it’s cool
one cool thing I noticed about the Fourze driver is that it has the gimmicks and form of a Hesei era belt. But it is described to function like a Showa era driver, like how the typhoon takes in wind power this belt takes in cosmic energy.
This was my childhood. Especially the toys
the dusters are lowkey some of the best looking mooks xD i really like their yakuza/ninja design
I know that pool too! Alot of sentimental value.
To me Ex-Aid Build and Zi-O is a trilogy and Zero-One continuing that trilogy
May I ask why?
I’m just curious but I also want to see those three as a trilogy too
I love Fourze) ❤
Thank you for video
My fave series. Let's see this video out!
gokaiger makes every crossover better according to emgo
Fourze is one of the greatest in heisei
I feel like Wizard was where they _tried_ but failed to keep the number theming going. And Ex-Aid was where they completely said "no, number theory ain't real"
12:34 kamen rider fourze predict the future
You already did this!!!
The show's head writer being Gurren Lagann's explains why I got into this show so quickly, despite being goofy ASF.
To me a true kamen rider is someone who uses their power to protect others rather than just themselves.
Super hero taisen has some great combo moves in that movie like riders and Sentai play off each other so well
Fourze may not be the greatest season but it was the dhow that got me into kamen rider. So for that reason it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Kamen Rider Forza: No more bikes, time for cars.
Or: HIS SUIT IS BASED OFF AN XBOX.
The story of the kamen rider statue is why I tell people about the show. Because kamen rider is not just important for entertainment history but also important for real world history
This is still the only long-form televised series I’ve finished and entirely because the cast is so likable and lighthearted. Gentaro is literally the best guy ever.
This makes me buy cosmic switch thanks, fourze always a favourite.
Kamen Rider Fourze is one the best Kamen Rider series of all time.
I’ve only just gotten into Kamen Rider a few months ago, and quickly grew to love it. Fourze, however was definitely hard to get into; It just didn’t mesh with me. However after hearing Austin’s testimony on this, I’ll gladly give it another chance.
I lost it at Mage's description of Super Hero Taisen XD
I just finished this show and loved it. I would love it if they did a reunion special, but sadly I don’t think that will happen since Yuki’s actress left her talent agency to join her family in a religious cult called Happy Science. Now a days only doing productions for them sadly.
Go-Busters ignored in the Super Hero Taisen...
and then again in their own VS Movie...
which was used as a basis for the Special Episode Crossover for Beast Morphers
I just started with Kamen Rider and started fourze and I think I did it right. It's just about being good. And also I'm a girl who grew up on high school musical and disney channel
20:51 aw yes because when I was a young lad I always wanted to unplug a electrical outlet
I agree with the last 10 episodes with a lot of twists. My favourite was the reveal of Tachibana’s identity.
Can't wait for the ex raid history video
W ooo fourze movie war end game
Correct me if I'm wrong, Fourze is currently the last time Kamen Rider Shin had actual dialogue, if you can call his noises dialogue.
Where do I find the rest of the series? I have just gotten a little into kamen rider and decided to start with Fourze because it interested me the most, only problem is I can't find episodes other than 1 and 2 anywhere! I loved episodes 1 and 2 and would love to see more! Any help?
56:31 the space station is inspired by daitetsujin 17 and yeah those two series I'm currently being whacthing
One of my favourite riders
I've seen that pool before, I don't remember where though
most likely the fire extinguisher can shoot flames because of burn lines for forest fires
Uchuu-KITAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Power of friendship for the win.
11:05 JK is also the shortened form for joshikousei (high school girls), so Jake is secretly a girl?! jk (my tsukkomi side here triggered so yeah)
12:34 Gundam it, Kamen Rider!
*saw fourze* .... *crys sheads happy tears*
12:35 That explains the new variant
38:49: Line to live for. Also where is that quarry?
*anything breaths*
Gentaro:wanna be friends?
Pretty dope to know the dude from megadeth jumped on KR track.
I am a incredibly novice Kamen rider fan and I feel like I almost exclusively hear negativity towards this particular season
never thought May'n sang for Kamen Rider at some point in time
If you think about it, Shun is basically the flash Thompson of fourze
The helmet is the best part.
i got into a discussion with a friend on discord over fourze and why they think it sucks, it basically came down to they didnt like that it was meant as a trope of an all to common american show type, which i mean i get that its a weird story plot but fourze is still so good
People rocking Gentaro's haircut and clothing style and being a delinquent is known as yankee in Japan. It's a weird trend that's been around since the 80s. I think as an older toku fan, fourze was a bit too young for me. I am impressed at how popular both kamen rider actors from fourze have become.
oh god i did not remember the cg looking like that
People fighting in a quarry pretty much sums up tokusatsu.
Fun fact about Gokaiger: before the earthquake of 2011 the show was only going to have actors from post Gaoranger but afterwards actors from across the history of the franchise came to join in the celebration of the franchise's anniversary as a sign of solidarity
You could thank ninjared/bullblack's actor for that
