Ferguson TEA 20, Post hole borer, Nov 6 2020..

Boring a 9 inch by 2 foot 6 inch hole for a 2 mtr fence post. Ferguson TEA 20 P3, is 1948 with Perkins P3 conversion and I've owned it for 24 years. Completely unrestored. I've replaced the water pump and PTO shaft, but everything else is original..

Could you tell me the story with the Ferguson? The engine and bonnet are strange.

I'm just guessing it will have a perkins p3 conversion....was a common enough thing to do to convert petrol engined grey ferguson over too being diesel.... the engines were higher so the bonnet didn't fit as they should and people used to add in a piece of sheet metal at the point between the dash and the bonnet to make it look more finished
