Which economy did Gaza or the West Bank biult up? Taking billions of USD as financial aid is not building up an economy. Does their government structure has attracked international investors? Did they built up industries for export? So, what we are taking about here - no question mark required.

The single greatest economic partner the West Bank had was Israel. Now Israel has revoked the work permits for thousands of Palestinian commuters for security reasons. (Remember: That’s how Hamas gathered intelligence ahead of 10/7.)
For the record, Israel’s economy has taken a hit as well without Palestinian commuters participating. But it is trying to make up the gaps by hiring more workers from South Asia.
