Combe Haven full review and tips: Always wanting to do a caravan trip, we booked our 1st caravan holiday at Combe Haven Hastings in East Sussex, along with few of our friends. I am going to give you some details that will help you plan your trip.

First thing to do after paying for the holiday is to download their app ‘Haven App’ and pre-book activities. There are plenty of free and paid activities for kids.
We didn't know about this app or pre-booking activities until we did some research a week before the trip. So some activities got sold out by the time we started booking.

Anyways, our kids did plenty of swimming. The group tried the flume as well but some liked it and some not because of the height, length and rotational motion the flume throws people into.
We visited two beaches. One is at walkable distance from a side gate of the caravan park, and Hastings beach which is 3 Miles away from Combe Haven holiday park.
We booked the bronze caravans that have central heating considering UK weather, but did not need the heating during our stay in June. The caravan had a well equipped kitchen, cookwares and dinnerwares.
The park has some restaurants as well. For cooking by self, there's a mini market inside the park and an Aldi at 10 min walk from side gate of the park, that can meet all necessities for the home cooks.
And the staff are really friendly and helpful. The park was super clean and well maintained, except for the pond which if cleaned will make a beautiful corner to spend quality nature time. We loved it as 1st time caravaners.
During our stay one of the caravans caught fire in Combe Haven. We were at the pool and noticed when black smoke started rising in the sky. Few people ran towards the incident probably the ones in neighbourhood of that caravan. Fire was quickly taken care of and rest of the people returned to regular activities. Please be ultra careful while living in caravans.
