I really think you were spot on with this being very cozy...the chair adds a lot of warmth. I love the dried hydrangeas as I cut some of my own to use for my fall decorating. I was not thinking when I first cut them and had them in a vase to dry and my nosy cat thought she needed to sample them and got sick to her stomach. I immediately looked up info on the hydrangeas and found them to be poisonous to cats. She ended up being ok but I felt bad for not checking it out to begin with. Lesson learned and they will be up high as you have them.

I like the chair > yet if it's an entrance foyer [[ thought of it as a simple little place to maybe wait on a ride or if a friend is coming over.

I have that same wreath in my family room . Bought it last fall at Target. I have it on a 1/2 wall that has a scrolly iron wall decor with our gold last name initial in the middle. I love it so much, I bought a little black pot with the same hobbs arrangement yesterday at Target. I love those colors. Did I say it right? Hobbs? Loving your new chair.
