Oh the strain is my favorite TV show! I have watched it more times than I can count and I still love it. Sadly not many people know it even exist..
Even though I have watched way to many TV series the strain will always be my favorite.
Wheel of Time was intriguing enough to get me to read the books, but it also became infuriating watching it back seeing the differences to the source material. Feels like a bastardization of the story now.
I’m a big fan of the books. Disappointed in the series as it took too many liberties away from the books. The dragon in the series is impotent compared to the books.
100% agreed, the serie is good... until you compare it to the books/source. But i will continue to see it, i think s2 was a tad more close than s1. So i have hope on s3!
@@MrFildur I wouldn’t have called it “good” even before reading the books. I had my gripes with it even then. But it was just intriguing enough to get me curious about the books.

@@nightmareamv8111 It’s very hard for me to find a fantasy series that catches and holds my attention. A big part because of usually very bad cgi when it comes to fantasy series. If the characters and story aren’t interesting enough to pull me in, within the first 5 episodes or so, the bad cgi usually seals the deal for me to give up on it, even if it has a couple of seasons. 🤔

I have read the Wheel of Time books, so I was looking forward to the live series. I confess that I did compare the two of them, but in the end I found the changes a bit insignificant and decided to enjoy them separately. Both are beautiful in their own way, the visualization of the places and the scenes was unbelievingly amazing 🤩🤩

American Gods was great...for one season and then it went downhill.
I watched His Dark Materials and enjoyed it, but it was still a bit of a disappointment for me. I wanted it to be better, but maybe I was unfairly comparing it to the books. Here, HBO aired the final season with 2 episodes a night, seemingly in an effort to get it over with so they could move on the The Last of Us

I really liked the Outpost. The stories were good and had some really hot female characters. Probably, half the main cast ended up on the Ark. Another good Sci-fi show. I enjoyed Merlin. The last season got a little weird. The Strain was awesome. Ever wonder what would happen if vampires took over the world? Here it is. His Dark Materials started out well and I was invested for awhile. But lost interest. I haven't seen Wheel of Time yet. I hope to benge watch it. If you like Castlevania, try Vox Machina. Spoiler - lots of sex, blood, and bad language.
Castlevania should be no1. Was a masterpiece.

American gods season 1 was superb! astonishing! never seen anything like it! but season 2 was a HUGE disappointment, I mean it's pretty decent on its own, but compared to season 1 it's just.. garbage
I got so sad when His dark Materials reached its finale. I wanted more but knew that it was over and almost felt like i was cut off from the one power source. Yes, The wheel of time was great. Can't wait for the 3rd season.

Best series
I like fantasy and was interested in the list, as I look for fun new series to watch, but after seeing the Wheel of Time and Moon knight listed as "best" - i think i'd pass on the rest as well.
And The Strain, the only really good show on the list that I've already watched, is almost a decade old at this point, hardly a "2023" topic.
I was so disappointed in the Wheel of Time series that I stopped watching it after the 2nd episode. It was a disgrace and looked to be more of a woke bastardization of the books. very sad.
Diversity of cast ruined all these serise.
