Took 9 hours in total! It could’ve been less but I got obsessed over perfecting the colours 😅 but it was very satisfying overall. This is my 3rd tutorial by you and I’ve been loving them a lot! Definitely more challenging than the isometric gaming room but this is the challenge I needed 💪🏽 thank you so much!!
As my first time I was very frustrated with my version because it didn’t line up with yours and I couldn’t size it right for some reason so objects touched and as a perfectionist it bugged me, but I don’t want to give up despite it all because it was just my first time and I really loved the clarity of your tutorial, it was super specific and at a great pace, it was truly my first time using procreate in general and it gave me a lot of insight and knowledge at what it’s capable of. It’s overwhelming but gave me a general idea of what direction I want to go. So I’ll definitely be sticking around to check out more of your videos. Thank you!
Flo, I got the Adventurous Artist bundle from your email!!! It's INCREDIBLE! There's got to be over 200 brushes and stamps, color palettes including metallics, text templates, ready made canvases, paper textures and backgrounds...I've already made two works trying out everything ❤ Best $29 I've ever spent!
That's so great to hear Rae! Every once in a while I'm able to share some amazing deals that almost seem too good to be true 😊 I'm happy you are enjoying the bundle!
Thank you SO much for doing this. It was a challenge, but it was the perfect sort of art challenge I've been looking for. I adore your tutorials, but this scratched a really challenging itch that I had. The layers, the use of light, I learned so much. I did this over the space of three evenings that I had free. It looks amazing. I will be using so much of what I've learned.
You are a LIFESAVER. I've been looking for some good free brushes to use for months and had an upcoming project where I needed a perfect skyline but wasn't very good at making brushes. I downloaded one of your packs, and it is amazing! You're so talented. and thank you for everything!
I'm watching and learning a lot about design and the lighting techniques, thanks for this tutorial. My only detail to add would be to add a mattress (or indication of mattress) between your bed frame and quilt. Nobody likes to sleep just on a bed frame 😅
I learn so much about perspective, shading and highlighting from your tutorials. BTW, my iPad statistics said that it took me 18 hours. I get my layers mixed up, then draw on the wrong layer and then need to make a lot of corrections. But I finished it.
took me just over 7 hours, but it was really fun! I wasn't able to use the pressure sensitive tools in the same way, but I'm still really happy with my result! Tysm for this tutorial!
That was a fun one. It definitely took a while, and I definitely took a week-long break, but it came out great! I don't know if I'll ever be able to do something like that on my own or even remember what all of those different settings mean, but I sure am proud of how it came out! Thanks Flo for giving me a positive stress outlet! 💖
This tool me two days LOL I didn't understand how masking the layers worked and at some point I got super lost and wasn't shadowing anymore. So I backed up to my line drawing, found a masking video, and then went back in and colored again. So happy with the outcome!
This is my third time doing a tutorial of yours and the fourth things I’ve made in procreate ever! It took me 5.5 hours over three days and was the hardest one by far. I totally loved it and this gave me a lot of excitement for future projects! I will keep doing your tutorials they are great!
This video caught my eye because I've been looking for drawing exercises for rooms just like this. This was my first attempt at drawing a room and it took me well over 12 hours. That had nothing to do with your direction. I loved this experience because you took your time explaining what you where doing and why. As well as encouraging us not to worry about making it look exactly like your example. The different techniques you used has helped me SO much! Thank you for taking the time to record and share this with those of us who are just starting out.
Thanks dear flo this was the first tutorial I followed with you and it took me about 6-7 hours i would say. Please keep up with amazing tips and guides
Again, so much fun making this! And very educational! You are no doubt the best on CZcams with these tutorials. Your explanations are clear and easy to follow, L-O-V-E it!!!!
omg i needed this i love following your tutorials and i learn so much about using procreate because i’m a newbie thank you!! 🥺🥺looking forward to drawing this
great tutorial! first time trying perspective so learnt a lot! it took me about 7 hours and my proportions need some adjustments so I would repeat it. But I am super happy with the results!
I have completed it on ibispaintx, where the settings are a lot different and I had problems during the sketch part , but it turned out soo good , it took overall 8.5 hours for me.I have learnt soo much. Thank you a lot sister ☺️
I loveeee loveee loveeee all your works especially the lofi-type drawings. I've tried some of the drawings and turned out really pretty! Your works really helped me as a total beginner in drawing and it was always my dream to draw like this. Hopefully in the next lofi art, you'll show us how to make a loop lofi gif which is short animated lofi drawings to kinda match the lofi vibes especially if we match it with a lofi song. This would be a dream come true if I'm able to make a gif out of my own lofi drawings! Can't wait till your next video! Until that, thank you so much for your hardwork & kindness to educate people on creating such amazing arts ✨️
Hi Flo ! This took me a couple hours, didn't count but approximately 6-7. I was amazed with the results. I literally cried at the end because I was so proud of myself ! Thank you sooooo much for everything, you are talented ! Kisses from France ❤
Absolutely amazing! I had no idea how to draw on procreate 2 weeks ago, but after following some of your tutorials, and after finishing this one (7 hours) I feel confident in my drawing. I learned how to use perspective, shading and highlighting. Thank you so much! :) I also love your free brushes in the treasure pack, they come in handy.😀😀😀😀😀 PS. you got me addicted to drawing so, is that a good thing or a bad thing?🤔🤣🤣🤣
This is a day later i finished it. It took me nearly 10 hours (mostly bc I added some of my own things to the drawing).. And I did it on one sitting. You probably think that I then had plenty of free time, but no, actually just lost track of time and ended up not studying to a final exam.😅 Nonetheless, tysm for making this tutorial, I really enjoyed drawing along with you. Now I got a new computer baggrund❤️🤩
Thanks a lot, Flo! I am a beginner and just jumped right into this. It took me 13 hours and 11 mins to finish this. Took about 3 months on and off because I "abandoned" it in the middle. So happy to finish it. It looks great!
Amazing video, thank you for the tutorial. The only problem I got was that the swatches in the palette after I downloaded it are in different order. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Hi. I have a question. I found the perspective grid along with the color pallete but i don't know how to dowload it onto procreate... Can somebody help me? It bugs me when the measurement are off. Btw great tutorial!!! Love it
I believe when you see download on the bar, it will say ‘open it’ then click that and you might have to move the apps to the side and click procreate. Procreate should open up and what you downloaded should be in there.
Thank you very much Flo for this tutorial video really full of trick and skill. I take a lot of time but i’ve learned too much!! And so in finally I’m happy. Long Life to draw and painting in every form and every support!!
Hello Arlo! New to your channel and it is awesome! After I import the grid I do not have the vertical lines on the grid. Do you know what I am missing? Thanks!
Flo, I downloaded the color palette for this tutorial and it is different than yours in the video. On the page it is the "Sunset room" and you are using the "Sunny room". Or did I just mix something up? 🤔
Hi Flo!!! Thank you for this tutorial. Currently doing it, however I can’t find the colour palette “sunny room” on the free colour palette lists that you’ve provided. :(
I love all your tutorials, a huge thank you for all you do! I'm French and I understand you well because your diction is excellent :-D I've already spent 2 hours on this tutorial but I'm sad, I'm stuck at 42 min. I can't fill the elements with orange (or other color), everything turns orange. I tried with different shapes and couldn't fill just one shape without the whole canvas being colored with that color. However, the alpha lock is activated and I checked the settings several times... I'm frustrated. If anyone has an idea to solve the problem...
I need some help. My layer doesn't show anything. Is empty. Even on the canvas there is. I can't do anything to my art. Like I can't move it. What was I supposed to do? 😢
idk i feel like this is so confusing. what if you have to change color or shadows of an object?. maybe its the same thing but Why you have to use so many layers nad masks when you can use one for the sketch and for every obejcts a group which inside there is a layer for the object lineart, a layer for color and one for the shadow. This is even better becasue you can move, modify a single object and name every group so you dont get confused.
