6:13 78 , 45, and 33.3 RPM are *turntable* speeds, not tape machine speeds. Please annotate this correction.

Great review! Pretty sure the RPM refers to simulated vinyl speeds however, not tape speeds.

I really recommend that you listen to the amazing band that created this filter, ‘Vulfpeck’ hence the name Vulf compressor. They are a low-volume funk band that produces music that consistently makes me smile.

Great review. Cool you mentioned the aspect of distance perception. Sometimes people seem to forget what those tools actually do to audio and for listening perception. Cheers

Is the WOW function random or totally kind of recallable...what I mean is, will the fluctuations be in the exact same places every playback while mixing? Or will they be kind of random?

get the 303... when using the 303 for over an hour it begins to warm up & begin to breath, these machines have a soul and you'll find its half the compressor and actually half how you shape your drums, thats what makes the your drums slap and knock, these emulators in my eyes are just the cute little "try to be"(People making money) , if your making beats you'll never learn the full process unless you jump of the screen and work with hardware, by looking at a screen in my eyes you loose all intimacy with your sound, if you want to learn listen to vinyl records I truly think the mixing mastering process has been lost from the 60s & 70s and we rely way to much on making our sound sound like someone else.
get your own sound, no one can emulate how you turn the dials in real time yourself,
your meant to add something to hiphop not copy everyones sound :) trap is the saddest example of copying eachother id hate for "lofi?" what ever that is to end up the same...

While this is fair for what he is describing it as, this compressor is actually for the funk band Vulfpeck, and is how they make their “sound”
