Honestly, no dj did something extraordinary this year. Nor last year. Except for KSHMR who got into the game at that time, Hardwell and W&W and BJXX are holding their place just because of their early 2010s fame.
No DJ did something extraordinary ? You gotta be joking, Hardwell, W&W and Blasterjaxx holding their place because of their 2010 fame ? What kind of drugs are you using ? Did you forget about Hardwell's United we are foundation, his world's biggest guestlist event in Mumbai ? Did you watch his Ultra 2016 set ? His label even hosted a stage there, he signed so many big and new talents on his label, which is doing fantastic.. And W&W famous in 2010 ? They weren't even mainstream back then, producing trance, they became well know by the wider crowd in 2013, but really blew up in 2014, they also have alot of amazing sets, and their Mainstage label is doing great, and for Blasterjaxx, 2010 ? As far as I know, they didn't even exist back then, it was just Thom dreaming about being a DJ, Idir joined in late 2012 ... All of those on the list have done hell of alot things, what more do you expect ?
Žiga Rajniš Early 2010s, meaning 2011/12/13/14. Now it all comes down to opinions, in my opinion United we are is shit compared to his old albums. W&W were great back then and so was Blasterjaxx, with snake, mystica etc.
No extraordinary" compared to what they did before, what they did back then was way better than today.
You are right with a lot of things if not everything you said but it just doesn't do a lot to me, i find 2016 to be a bit more boring compared to previous years.
W&W had the best year out of all of them. How Many, Arcade and the remix of Dont let me down are all bangers. Plus Bigfoot and the One are always gonna be classics. Hardwell is my fav dj but W&W really won me over this year especially after seeing them live.
This song reminds me a lot my old old phone when he died he even had a name that day i cries a lot with this music ;-; 💕
