Same. I'm worried because Disney doesn't always do too good when it comes to sequels. Since it's Pixar they might do ok, though I am worried about seeing how the portray puberty. It can easily go wrong if they are not thoughtful about it.

I remember watching the first movie with my three-year-old daughter and partner. I cried a lot in the Bingbong scene. My partner lost his battle with heart cancer and passed away not long after. So, this movie brings back so many memories. I’m going to see the sequel with my pre-teen daughter ❤

Anxiety is voiced by Ethan Hawke's daughter and has a cartoony character design. She definitely is the fan favorite among the new emotions.
That's why it sounds so familiar... i mean her Robin with Anxiety in Stranger Things s4 sounds so great... so i think she'll nail it portraying this new emotion

@@Boneappleteahee Don’t know why Fear couldn’t make a reprise, but I can definitely understand why Disgust needed a change after Mindy Kaling’s work on that obviously narcissistic reiteration of Velma.😅 Gonna miss her though because I did enjoy her a bit as Disgust in the first movie.

PIXAR have a women working there who literally complained about the lack of female characters in CARS - and strove for more representation - Disney nonsense is definitely bleeding into PIXAR
@@Redballoon99I mean it’s completely fair to suggest “Cars” should have women participating in races, considering the original movies were exclusively male racers. The movie is aimed towards a young audience, and I bet a lot of young girls saw the movie and felt some bit of inspiration, this is not a bad thing.

I was 14 when the first one came out at the most anxious I think I’ve ever been. I wanted so badly to see anxiety In the movie, to see Disney acknowledge that what I was feeling was normal, but was very disappointed. Finally I have my chance!

Maya Hawke may be the greatest addition to this latest installment in the Pixar Animation Studios' Inside Out franchise. Her portraying Anxiety may act as a testament to he own acting versatility. She's no longer labelled as that one girl in Stranger Things.

The original was my childhood movie. I grew up watching it and Inside Out is by far the best pixar movie and has a special place in my heart. I am extremely excited for this and i’ll be watching it 7 years later as a 14 year old.

The amount of tears that came out. This was one of my favorite movies, and to see it getting a sequal makes me so excited!!!!
I have high hopes for this one, for two reasons-
1. The time which was taken between the first film and second suggests that a lot of thought was put into this. The seed for this film (as I understand it) was planted at the end of it first film with the ‘puberty’ label on your console.
2. This film appears to be a natural progression of the first film, building on the concepts presented therein. Many sequels try to do something entirely new while keeping what people like about the first film.
But, I'm afraid, this sequel doesn't, because it makes a huge plot hole. How can Raily have new emotions if in first movie we saw adults' heads where are also five basic emotions without new members?

I have a debate for point 1:
The huge time between May not mean they had lots of time put for the movie. It could have went like this:
Disney CEO: "WE NEED CONTENT FOR MORE MONEY NOW!"
Disney employee: "OH! WHAT ABOUT INSIDE OUT? WE HAVENT DONE THAT IN AWHILE LETS MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT!"

I think the reason why other emotions, the negative ones, are not seen in adults mind in Inside Out 1 is because they are put in a separate space.

And Then THIS Happens…..
This was the first movie I ever cried. They did an amazing job.
I personally love Tony Hale as Fear in this new movie, because of the the fact that he voiced Forky in Toy Story, and I can definitely picture Forky's voice as Fear!
For those wondering, the new ones are Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment. Kind of odd, as Fear covers two of those pretty easily. Though Envy and Ennui are interesting.

Fear and anxiety aren’t exclusive to one another, you can be anxious yet not fearful, worry and anxiety are more closely related than fear is to anxiety. You can also feel embarrassed without being fearful, embarrassment is more closely related to shame or awkwardness

Presumably, the other emotions are at the final parts of the trailer. Which are anxiety, envy, boredom, and embarrassment. (Good lineup actually!)
I really wonder what the other 3 emotions are gonna be like, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment. I especially am curious about Envy because in the promotional art you can see Envy is just a little cutey. I can already tell I will absolutely love Ennui with the design we can see and the emotion they represent, they'll probably give Riley that whole teen feel.
Well, from the concept art that was shown ages ago, i don't think that guy is Envy.
@@strangecolouredbird That is envy. That little teal one is envy, in the trailer they flashed text of all of the emotions and envy was teal, it is how I knew the names of all 3, because it showed all 3 of the other new ones in that segment.

@@strangecolouredbird guess we'll find out. Though I don't know if these emotions are going to be as thought out as the first 5. The first 5 were designed with certain objects in mind, joy as a star, sadness as a tear drop, anger as a brick, disgust as broccoli, and fear as a brain cell. Anxiety doesn't seem to have a direct design and is more as just a personified version of anxiety.

We were revealed at have four new Emotions joining Riley in this new film:
Anxiety (obviously) - An excessive or persistent worry about everyday situations or an irriational fear of wildly unrealistic scenarios. Anxiety can be normal in stressful situations, especially since half of puberty is being unnecessarily stressed out about everything.
Ennui - Ennui is described as a feeling of listlessness or dissatisfaction. Basically, it's teenage angst. (other synonyms could be boredom)
Envy - The feeling of discontent with what one has and being resentful of others for their possessions. Jealousy, basically.
(I've seen a lot of debate on whether this last emotion is Embaressment or Love, but I think it'll be Love. I'd assume everyone would know what Love or Embrassment is, yes?)
It's definitely embarrassment. They revealed all the new emotions around 1:23

In the thumbnail I believe from left to right it is Envy, Embarrassment, Anixety, and then Ennui.
By the way, Ennui is basically when you feel dissatisfaction even when doing something that normally brings you enjoyment.

I only turned 13 a few weeks ago and I feel that this idea of a sequel is genius and since I’m a teen now this could help me and other new teens how to handle the new and different emotions that we would gain during this time and age❤.
(Edit: it will always be funny to me that when your a kid you only have 5 main or strong emotions and as soon as you hit teen you Exsplode with many more emotions ranging from the main ones.

OH MY GOSH!!!! I hope it’s like, more mature emotions stemmed from the first ones! Anxiety stems from fear, disgust could be judgement, sadness to depression, anger to hormones or mood swings, and Joy to happiness. The first emotions would try to use the console, but say disgust tries to do something she’d be cut off by judgement. We could get a “your job is done now”

we probably didn't see them because a. it was the old movie (real logic) or b. (movie logic) it was shown from riley's pov so she only knew the five emotions
I remember randomly watching the first movie, laugh all the way until Bingbong scene show up. That's scene was tear jerker, and stored in my core memory till this day.

Was 16 when the first one was out. Absolutely loved it. Teenagerhood is rough especiallyin young girls. Anxiety was probably my main issue then which I'm still learning to deal with now and I'm so glad Disney is acknowledging this and the suppose other emotions that puberty loves to bring, it great step and im so looking forward to see it be presented in the movie.
