Never expected that the interceptors could evade so many obstacles. I thought it would be "cliche'd" with replacements of each broken interceptor, but these indeed have the best drivers. Fantastic video.

The cops of 80s never fail.
Just came back today to watch this for the 3rd time. It's really cool and I love watching old police chases. Definitely reminds me of the Blues Brothers. I would like to recommend using sirens that better fit the time, like the ones that were on the Burnside. Do wish there was more stuff like this to watch.

Nice job, I love old school/clasics! The Oldsmobile and delta 88 mod still work? I thought they are broken. And just something I noticed/wonder about. If the cop at 2:03 to 2:19 is the same, why the siren change?

The siren change was just to give our ears a break from hearing the same siren for a long time ;) haha

@Jessie Günther, the siren change is due to what BeamNG-FUN said but also for realism as the police don't just stick to one siren all the time.
The first one with the rust bucket he just got it at the junkyard. And the police are chasing him because it backfired and they thought it was a gun shot.
BeamNG Fun I have in idea if you do a part two the police cars are the Gravil bulebuck but in stead of the main color being gray it black so it looks like it's the police cars from Mayberry (Andy Griffith show).

If you couldn’t tell, those moonhawk police cars have inline 6s which was never the case with real ones from that era. Those old 70s police cars always had massive V8s

Sorry for not commenting on the video, I just want to give an idea for you; for a future video related to the series "Retro Police Chases" ever thought about adding in a black and white filter to give the video a classic look to it? Also, I would like to say; I love the idea you went with at 5:08 where the interceptor is shooting at the suspect. Never the less, keep it up!

Hopefully the next video you could use the Caprice classic cars and Impala car with four seaters using teardrop beacon 🚨 lights and aerodynic lightbar blue and red bar lights to do a remake chase scenes from the tv show A team were Colonel Decker and his MPs(Military Police) try to catch the A team.

This is max settings & 60fps+. You're confusing the map mod's quality with the game's quality settings. If the map (first one) is lacking in detail, there isn't much I can do. It's just the way the person designed their map.

Crash Injuries / deaths 3:25 Probably fatal, 4:33 Some non fatal, some fatal, 5:45 near fatal, car totalled, 6:22 Not fatal, 8:01, would be fatal if the tank exploded, 9:54 realistically not fatal (the rain would've put the fire out.) 11:12 fatal for the truck driver, minor injury for the cop that didn't get out of the way.
