SimplySoccer make a video where you analyze a winger
Can u do a video on wingback please thank you
SimplySoccer hi
it's football, not soccer you dumba-....
Just wondering if you have a video to show the difference between a winger/forward and a wide midfielder. Just to know your roles and positioning.
ANOTHER BIG TIP: a really big thing for a winger should be to have a very good weak foot (for both being unpredictable and to be able to shoot and cross)
Arjen robben have a right foot
@@whoisabdalle8295 yes cz hes an inverted winger .
That's one of my problems, I can perfectly cross like a lw but when I cut inside I have to kick trivela if I don't want to become a sub 🤌
Check
Yess
This helped me so much this season, atm I’m on 14 goals and 21 assists in 27 matches
Liar idiot
insane
ATM I’m at 0 goals 2 assists in like 6 matches 👍🏼

Injured
How to play winger
- know to dribble
- know passing
- be fast
- know how to shoot
- set pieces
- look to score
-Confidence*
Then wing isnt my position😂
I think I can become a perfect wing, I played soccer/football with my friends and cousins and I can do mostly of this except knowing how to dribble
Vernon Eatwell lmao not as easy as you think mate, you say this then when you go on the pitch you get absolutely Shitted on, take nothing for granted in football, anything can happen in 90 minutes
@@farhadnejjad9947 I didn't ask for your arrogance
Been waiting for this video, tommorow is the big day , wish me luck
Gjaa Gjaa good luck lad
what is the result??
tell us are u won or?
Gjaa Gjaa tryouts???
Injury 2 years
Will reply after injury😂😂
OK im usless after the First minute
OOF
haha! same
MC 9D just keep practicing on your dribbles bruh
Don't loose hope look at Mo Salah , Robben . They're not super dribblers
Brun D. Beard robben is a hell of a dribbler mate...
I'm a winger myself, and as a right footed right winger for me it's much more about confidence and ability to stay calm. I'm faster than most of my opponents and know how to make runs which often gets me the ball in the box, but it's just a matter of knowing what to do and when to do it.
How would you work on the ability to stay calm? I feel like that’s a bigger problem with me being pretty small playing against bigger opponents
@@kobeymanninen1957 yeah most of my opponents are a lot bigger then me too. First of all I always try to make sure I'm ready to receive the ball in the box, either tapping it in or passing it to someone else. And to stay calm it's all about confidence, you need to know you are better then the defender and always keep your head cool to look for the best option in a high pressure situation. I'm still trying to work on it aswell but already massively improved my ability to stay calm over the last 2 years by just becoming more confident
When I used to play football, I had this conversation with one of my teammates on how I can improve as an winger on our team. And he said "basically you're an out-wide midfielder" This was an revelation to me as I thought of myself as an out-wide attacker. So I started training as an midfielder would, and I became more defensively responsible, fitness levels improved massively, and reduced the amount of step-overs per game 😂 and kept things simple, to become more effective particularly on my crossing. Eventually I became an essential part of my team.

Thanks a bunch I’m normally a cm but on my highschool team a made varsity and both cm’s are seniors. My first game is today and I’m playing LW and this was a big confidence booster.
How was the match
I scored 26 and 8 assists in 14 games as an st for my team and we won division 2 with me getting around 80% of the goals but now I've moved onto an adult team and they play me on the wing. Thanks for this vid hopefully it helps.
What was your main way to score?
This is going to really help me on my new team, as because I’m starting off on a right wing in witch I have never played before
I have been waiting for this video for so long time, tanksssss really help me to improve my game!
Glad to hear!
My coach makes me play both left and right wing which is very hard because I gotta practice on my left foot which I’m bad at.
LM10 Ru Reh same
That's actually a good thing. It makes one more versatile and ambidextrous on both feet. And an overall better player in the long run
i play left wing and im a righty 🙂
I know this isnt what you want to hear, but there is NO way to get better at using your left foot without constantly practicing, eventually it will be second nature, for example, everyone can walk without even thinking about it, because we all do it so much, same thing with soccer, eventually you wont have to think
LM10 Ru Reh if u cant cross with ur left trying using rabonas
Great vid, helped me get a place in the Sunderland academy, thank you
been binge watching videos like these, wish me luck in my game tomorrow💥
Wish you luck
This is a great vid keep up the great work
Thanks for this wonderful video, my coach want me to really improve for my wing as a winger i think this video Will help through
Good video! I learned a lot.
This is what I have been telling my son . This is so correct. Thanks for being direct.😊
Thanks a lot
My tournament is next Thursday and I am playing LW so these will help
ThankYou Very Much for the free Ebook
Great vid!
Wow, this is so helpful 👏👏
Should I work on my weak foot so I can cross either side??
itsJJORDAN both just when ever you go to the park practice those things for 5 mins each
Thank you so much, this video is exactly what I was looking for
Happy to help!
We Are In He Semis Right Now And This Helped Me So Much
Great guide! 👍🏾
amazing video, now I understand that position much better
This helped me a lot I had 9 goals and 11 assist in 25 games but I missed the last games cause of injury. I am still injured and it will take about 6 months ....
Great video buddy
Thanks for a very good concise video!
Glad you like it!
This helped a lot thanks!
Very very useful keep making videos like this
You are a genius! Thank you Bro!
I’m joining a team for the upcoming season and looking to use these tips to make an extreme impression on the team and get some goals for them
Great Video Bro :)
Very helpful!
Championship game today wish me luck
Aj Robinson good luck mate !
Result
Awesome video sir loved it
Thanks!
Great video
How to beat fast players please make this video
Alex Monroy well if you aren't agile or fast then you have to rely on your dribbling skills .
Sorry you can't beat them
Nope sorry m8
dribble and stop and keep going, think of a super car and a regular car of course the regular won't stay up with the super car but if the super car had to stay up and the regular car brakes and goes it'll be hard for the super car to match up if you get me
get infront of them.
Wingers only defensive duty is to pressure the right/left backs. everything else is midfield duty.
defenders should be worried about wingers not vice versa.
Thank you ❤️🙏🏻⚽️
I love this
Fantastic video
problem is my confidence is so low i would consider myself a good dribbler but im so scared to dribble at people and lose the ball incase the team moans at me :(
ExonicSkull Same here
Be simple is also a very key aspect
This gave my inspiration
Do a complete guide on Attacking midfielders please! Great vid btw 👌

this helps me a lot! my coach recently switched my position from forward to winger and i was mad about it at first but not anymore
same lol
@@delilas yea same. I was a center mid but not I got put as wing cuz I made premier and I absolutely hate it. And Idk how to play it if never played it. But I dont wanna ask to switch.
@@nikki2243 it's my dream to play as a winger, for now I'm a defender,
Nice vid
Thank you sooo much
Exactly, as a winger you need to be wide and look to make runs in behind wether they are weak side runs, blindside runs etc. You also need to prioritize your goals, wether your coach wants to take shots at goal or too look to create and shoot crosses in the box for the strikers to feed on, defensively you have to drop back to cover your fullback incase they are in two v one situations where the other team has numerical superiority on the flank.
My whole middle school i played central def now my first year in hs my coach put me on winger, at first i didnt understand why but after watching this video i understand, its just i have trouble with getting open and thinking/making smart decisions in soccer like my teammate will have the ball but sometimes im not sure if im supposed to go wide or stay near them
5:56 if Valencia plays Lukaku in that's a goal easily, the space was widely opened up for him there.
best channel underrated
Thanks mate!
Thanks man
I like how even with videos like this, I like seeing how US Players think Left goes on Left, and Right goes on Right, I’m just like “Have you been stuck in the 70’s and 80’s all this time?
Thanks a lot.
I’m a defender and I’m good at being a defender but I feel happier playing a forward so I’m trying to switch things really helped
This is my first year ever playing soccer my dad helped teach me a few weeks before tryouts and i somehow made JV as a freshman and a first year soccer player when we scrimmage I am usually a wing and i’m only somewhat good at soccer because i’m fast i think the one of the only reasons i made it (i do track) and so these videos are super helpful because the coach never really helps
My first game is today and j was originally defense so I hope this helps me!!
Quality video.
Thank You Dave😃
No problem man!
Thanks bro
My crossing abilities is pretty insane, I can whip a ball from really far away and land it right at someones feet, it’s one of my best abilities but my coach likes to play me lw for some annoying reason when i’m right footed so I have to try and cross with my left foot and it’s pretty difficult at times because i’m so tempted to cut in cross with my right.
how did you learn to cross the ball so well? My performance is so inconsistent 😩
It was a good video.
Im a winger.. and u uploaded this on my 10th b day
Tq a lot dood
It helped me in my games
Glad to hear!
Please also analyse the skills and dribbling of Douglas Costa and Lucas moura they both are also nice wingers
"Arjen Robben" "unpredictable"
Hahahahaha
He's as predictable as it gets. Cut in on his left and shoot. Every time
predictable, but unstoppable.
Rollerbear712 true
Yet no defender can stop him from doing it
It’s not about what he will do because he is predicable, it is about WHEN he will do it 😉
True but he is unstoppable when he does it
Make a video on liverpool Torres plzz
I play left and right wing, when i play right i cross a lot and when i play left i cut in and shoot a lot because im right footed and i have no weak foot
Doesn’t make sense like you are right footed and somehow have no weak foot😂😂
Plz make a video on how to improve agility with and without the ball
Tyty👍
2 mins in, i know this video is helpful
As far as a weak foot goes I'd say I'm really good with it. Last year i had a right foot injury(which was my dominant.) and so throughout the season i would always play left Wing and kick with my left foot. Over the weeks I've improved on my what would be my weak foot. I'll still shoot with my right and such, but if I'm like crossing it to the right winger that would be the time i would kick with my left and honestly ain't that bad.
Very useful guide . Thanks made me assist and score combined 12 times in 6 games.
Cheers!
Can you do a video like this for Wing back? Or outside back at the least?
Most important role: Offensive
Skills:
1 vs 1
Cut inside and shoot
Wide pass from the wing to the goal
Defensive role:
Need to trace back opponent's wing back
nice
“If you’re a winger and have no skills you’re useless”
“David Beckham wasn’t good on 1v1s”
😔😔😔
He said “wasn’t the best” not “wasn’t good”
That's the reason he was hard working, crossing wide playmaker. No pure winger like Giggs
Eden hazard is one of the best example for you who want to play as a winger, just watch this m.czcams.com/video/RPY0o6X-OjE/video.html
But beckham was more of a wide playmaker
Yeah but he had sometimes huge to fall back on his beautiful crosses
Try outs in 18 days... thanks man🙏🏽
How did it go
@@Amir7 Couldn't make it 😅 Not gonna give up tho...
@@yusuftalha9085 unlucky bro, just work everyday on your skills and I'll see you playing for your national country 1 day
@@Amir7 You bet 🙏🏽😃
Can you make one of these for right and left backs?
As a winger shouldn't I press the opposing teams left/right defenseman? Instead of the opponents winger?
It makes more sense to me.
Great video btw, thank you!
Right. I’m a left winger and my coach always tells me to just press the right back when defending.
thank you i was played as right winger in my team
The Winger following The other Winger to defense is actually rare its usually The other fullback you need to follow as Winger
im right footed and my left foot is my weak foot should i play right wing to deliver good crosses with my right foot or play left to cut in and shoot with my right
I track back to defend only if the full back helps with the attacking
Thank you so much 😊
Can you do the next video of complete guide for midfielders?
MehMehMeh well your mids are your playmakers , ball winners, and also for defense . Be good at those things and your a good mid
Would require more than just one video.
Can you make a video on how to increase sprinting speed ?
Keep your legs higher and arms are really imporrtant actually
Can you train defensively by yourself?
What do I do if my coach puts me at LW when I'm not comfortable there. I'm most comfortable at RW what should I do?
Good video
book please
the way i play right wing is sort of like an assasin. at least that's how i like to think of it. it works better for right wing because more attacks go through the left side bc most people are right footed and hats more comfortable for them.
you want to be a presence as far wide as you can. you want to be able to stretch the left defender(and sometimes the left cb) to your side to give your teammates in the middle and the opposite side more space (you want to do this when the ball is on the opposite side) start making runs, cut in and out, get the defenders attention.
When the ball is on your side you want to be as wide as possible, and make sure your teammates know to send through balls. you have to be able to get by your man with an extremely quick burst of speed, and if that works, you should be long through. When the ball is on the other side of the pitch and your opposite winger is running up the side, lag behind a bit, make the defender forget about you as a threat to the goal. this is the most important part. you have to be able to lag behind for most of the attack and then sprint in to take one extremely quick touch to put it in the back of the net.
i love this sort of playstyle as a right winger because it frustrates defenders so much, gives more opportunities to your teammates, and it overwhelms them with threats to goal that they can't even see coming.
Deforce I like to try that but I have to keep dropping m stay down because our defenders get sucked in the middle to much and we're getting attacked constantly , I also can't rely on the midfield
Deforce ok
Thank you Deforce. This will help a lot. I have played winger all my life but lately I have been playing centerback. I want to get back into the winger position so this should help.
Do striker next and give examples of a player plz
On the 3rd Martial high light, does he just knock the ball and run ?
do one on naby keita
