Soil conditions definitely play a factor.😂 I'm not sure exactly how they grade these but it was about as fun and challenging as their other single black tech trail, maybe steeper in the top section. The only other thing I think it might be is the gap jump at the bottom cuz there's no b-line, you have to hit it, it's not huge though.
Yeah most likely. I'm not sure exactly what criteria they use to grade them. It seemed similar to their single black, maybe a bit rockier and slightly steeper in the top section.
@@avs61758 it's not too big, a little pop for sure but it's pretty safe to case, not quite rollable though. And you'll want to give a couple cranks out of the last berm leading into it.
Always first with latest offerings frome Dodge. Well done!🤘😎🤘
Thank you sir, I try my best.
Dude that trail looks amazing 😮. So jealous right now lol 🤟
Bro you were riding stuff I couldn’t even walk, (after I wrecked hard on the first part with the wooden drop.)
Ouch, not the most forgiving spot to go down. Hope you're alright.
Trail looked like it could use some rain.
🙌🏼
Making a Truffle Pig video this weekend? If so, please consider adding a few post lap thoughts... Thanks!
@@avs61758 you know it. I'll put something down in the description.
That's a Double Black? Why, because of soil conditions?? 😁🤣😂

What makes this a double black? Steepness and rough terrain?

@@mathewbascom1811yea rode it today, definitely not a beginner trail but it's a good solid black trail
I rode it Sunday, super steep, no traction, very lose, some sections I decided to try to walk and ended up sliding on my ass down the hill.
Hey Mathew, are the new runs good? I've only been to Dodge the very first year. Is it worth the drive (EastBay) now?
I'd say so, met a guy from San Jose today who said he couldn't wait to come back.
@@mathewbascom1811 awesome!!! Now to find time to go there. Thanks for the video.
I'm from East-Bay/Tri-Valley area, and the drive is definitely worth it. Looking forward to riding this new trail sometime this year!!!
Latin lives today!
looks doable on a trail bike ya?
@@jayfil2323 yeah, I plan on taking my hardtail next time.
Is Dodge planning any more new trails ?
They're always working on a new trail. I've heard they have a target of 2 per year for the next several years.
How is the gap jump at the bottom? Trail speed enough? Require much pop?

@@mathewbascom1811 Thanks for feedback. I enjoy your vids!
