- I thought I'd add a bit of background. I like to do those clips as a memory in time. I do 1-2 clips per show only so I can remember what it was like. They never end up depicting exactly how it was when I was actually there, as the camera catches details I only see at home(:D) and misses others... Nevertheless, it brings the memories back!
After a really long wait(10am arrival time) that included wind, rain in generic cold, me and my brother FINALLY got to the rail! It's my 13th time on a of Nightwish, commemorating 10 years since I first saw them at Brixton on Nov 5 2012(just after Floor was hired) and overall it's one of the worse performances. The set was shortest I've attended - 1:30(I've been to close to 2:30 shows in the past!), the sound was not perfect as usually the Nightwish sound is(still was very very good but deteriorated compared to last time I heard them in 2018). Overall, a really good gig, however, Nightwish gigs are not just good - they are perfect. And this one wasn't....
A lot of people have commented on the singing - it's mainly me and my brother singing, however, I can hear other voices. I wish I had a better singing voice...
Finally, at one point in the clip, the phone focuses in the nothingness under the stage - reason for this is that Emppu, of all times, decided to throw a pick at us and immediately tried to catch it.... I failed but at least I got another pick, so the total of the night was 1. - Hudba

I watched several videos from the London concert, and oh my God, Floor voice in all the videos sounds perfect, her voice has rejuvenated, it sounds very clean and high quality.

Yep. Been waiting for this gig for years, and of course, they smashed it out the park. Floor was just Floor……the greatest female vocalist, storyteller, front person on the planet!

I was there. A very strong, very impressive performance from the band. Floor was fantastic. Sound in the venue was great and the mix was excellent, in my opinion.
Totally agree that the sound was amazing. Not easy to achieve in such a big arena constructed of concrete 🫢

@@northof4912 😆 I came up with the name - George and Alex were wondering if it was possible to change my CZcams nick to that and I haven't bothered to change it back. When they added a Patreon page, they took 'Honorary Thamesman' as one of the levels of their subscription packages - which I don't subscribe to (can't afford it! Lol ) - so I'm the original Honorary Thamesman but not paying my subs! Clear as mud I know 😆 🤣
I was there! It was my first concert ever as before i couldn’t really go as most concerts are 16+ (i turned 16 in September) it was so amazing that i got to see the band I’ve been listening to basically since i was born

@@ToTheWolves Don't get me wrong, I love how passionate Nightwish fans are. I'm as or more passionate about them myself. I sang along when I saw them in concert. It was just a shame that we heard them better than we could hear Floor.

note to OP regarding the length of the show - they dropped 3 songs ( Planet Hell, Ever Dream & 7 days to the wolves) after Floor's surgery as she was naturally not 100%. All things considered, it was a fantastic show in my opinion. Great vid btw

I was second row in front of Emppu. Toward the end of this song he threw out a pick (not on this video) and I got it. I couldn´t believe my luck :D What an incredible show!!!

@@davidwestwater5900 Floor is three weeks post-op, so it's understandable that they've shortened the set list. Regardless, Floor is a goddess, and the show was amazing.

I heard that because of Floor's cancer surgery, Nightwish streamlined the concerts a bit to make them a bit easier. So I would like to know how long the current concerts last. But I mean the entire concert including the opening acts. Thank you for your information 🙏
1:30, or 3 songs shorter than what they did in the americas.... There are 2 opening acts, Turmion Kätilöt and Battle Beast and they play for 25-30 min and 40-45 min respectively. Battle Beast are actually quite good but they had a lot of sound issues....
