I really wish Mojang would update the animations for the old mobs. There's such a noticable disconnect between the old mobs and the new ones.

YES! I love when he does these types of videos with Jay an failboat, i hope he does more like this modshowcase in the future.
These are actually the kinds of mods I would consider using if my pc could handle it. I play entirely vanilla and I do love the simplicity of gameplay compared to mods but aesthetic changes like these feel like something I'd love to add just to make everything feel more alive.

Makes getting that stuff too easy, even if they're already very easy. The justification in-game would be that what's left isn't enough recoverable material to qualify as those items. (Try building a sword handle with a thorny sprig.)

Love the eating Animation which goes in well and the good time falling into the chunks into the Void and then the Bowl with not eating the wood but the food nice, and then the better animations going in nicr and the Endermen dancing on amazing harder and the enjoyment of that on fire, then yes the Thunderstorm Boat riding very elite and thr Raindrop Animation on the water amazing but big time nice
