I've owned a switch for a year now and it hasn't failed me once. I've used it every day besides a week or two when i was away and it's just the same as the day i bought it. One thing our man didn't go over is the crystal mode for the quartz and sapphire cups. Really improves the flavor imo and worth the extra money. You really gotta know when you buy it that everything is premium about it from components to accessories but it completely replaces the need for a torch, something that i had to do because of the place i live in. It's expensive sure, but you're paying for that convenience. yeet
crystal mode has 25 heat settings, so you can real dial it in, or go super low temp. I have been going as low as 350f, and honestly it gets you higher because you can just sit there and dab all day long without one cough. Before you know it, you've done too much, then its nap time. Gotta be careful with super low temp.
The accessories for this device are far, far, far from "premium". They're junk. The glass work, in particular, is straight up trash. The worst I've ever seen. The Switch has amazing technology, tho. Unfortunately, it's size, top heavy design & that shitty glass pretty much make it un-ownable in 2020....

Get some eternal quartz extra tall inserts! They keep it cleaner and it hits way better. Also you can extend your draw time from like 5-30 seconds. I got my switch before my peak and I completely regret wasting money on the peak. I just wish someone would make a sic insert.

This is the only expensive device I can think of that needs not only A rubber gasket, but 2 of 'em....just to make a proper seal. ...and... In spite of the Switch being an expensive device that has been around for several years now, glassblowers/artists could not care less about the thing. There's hardly anything out there. I've had mine for a long, long time, too. I have the most expensive glass attachment Dr Dabber sells. I have the most expensive carb cap that Dr Dabber sells. I have ALL of the inserts Dr Dabber sells (and some they DON'T sell). I have a "key" that allows me to use inserts for 24/25mm bangers in the Switch & that doesn't help any. I could keep going...but this is enough. I'll say something good too, tho. Induction heating/magnetic induction is a marvel. It really is like magic...and I 100% believe it's the path forward for TRUE high end devices. So, the Switch has amazing technology. It's just plopped into a terrible "platform". Hope my answer is good. I was as honest as I could be. EDIT: I didn't mention anything about using dry herb w/ the Switch because I don't use mine for that & never have. I didn't want to comment on something I don't know anything about.

They need to re-work this device. It'd be way more dope if the base were about half the height it is now (even shorter would be better)........and this thing worked with a hydro-tube or a whip. Exact same interface even. Keep the whole thing, because it is versatile & easy to learn. ....and the magnetic induction heating technology is bad ass. It's amazing in terms of it's tech.
