With the series coming to an end. I thought it would make a video showcasing Olicity’s journey. Their journey is one that captivated me instantaneously. Individually and together, both those characters have shown such a huge character growth, one that I have always found to be awe-inspiring. From their first word exchanges to the head tilt to the red pen to the fern, their story is one that I will hold dearly. I have had many ships from other shows over the years but none have ever come remotely close to Olicity. I don’t think I could ever say goodbye to them and the show fully but I hope in years to come we will be seeing them again. I have always admired how despite anything that got thrown their way they were able to overcome it together because their love is bigger than the freaking universe.

It's a slow burn relationship to those that don't know what that is...it's a REAL.RELATIONSHIP!😊 with touches building,tension that builds to trust,then feelings and love for each other!😘🥰❤😍when u fall for someone, there's alot of, " back and worth", will they/won't they! A true couple do fight sometimes, and they pine for each other, they love builds and grows over TIME! it took 3 seasons for them to get together! 😘🥰😊😇it was worth it, my babies, to see that relationship evolve.💚🏹🤓💻

Felicity's journey as a character in the first couple of seasons is quite remarkable. She was only supposed to appear in one episode but due the fact everyone in the crew liked her so much she was brought back for more. It also helped that Amell and Emily had undeniable chemistry. At the start of season 2 she had become a series regular and both unofficial female lead and main love interest.
To be fair Emily could literally have chemistry with a toaster she’s so amazing but still

He was sleeping around and didn't care about their feelings. People like that think that the world owes them everything. Then he went to the island, with what his father told him and his death he realized that things were totally different from what he thought; he began to change. With the life he led in the island (and what he was doing when he came back), he became secretive.
But nobody changes easily.
So they needed to show that. That was the purpose of the show.

@@bellabb13 he wasn't always on the island during those 5 years he was missing. the people who rescued him took him on a trip to starling city, he was on a mission or something like that. he was in his mom's office and he saw her. that was the very first time he saw her. then a couple of years later they actually interacted when he went to her for help.
In knowing she was only suppose to be in that one episode,I truly can't imagine what the show would have been had that been the case! Like I just can't imagine the show without her! Not only her and Oliver's love story, which is the best part, but just what the character itself brought to the show. They made the right call keeping her that's for sure. ❤️

Rewatching all these scenes, it feels like Olicity was the writers' intention all along, even though we all know it wasn't, but things just felt right from the 1st time they met.
I remember back then when Olicity started dating and even got married, a lot of Arrow fans said it came out of nowhere, but watching this, it's just... RIGHT.

At 1:23:55 it’s soo cute to see that after all the years that Felicity still gets tongue tied and speaks in sentence fragments around Oliver.
These two are the best ever. My favorite scene in the entire series is when Oliver moves in close, takes her hand, and says “He had you and he was going to hurt you. There was no choice to make”. Followed closely by the “can’t be with someone I might truly care about” speech. We all know exactly what you meant Oliver!! ❤️❤️

They have really came a long way...through thick and thin,that's the definition of TRUE LOVE.
I have always rooted for them, but I can not lie about not being annoyed at how many obstacles they have faced and how many times they doubted each other and life (all the dangers) enough to have to take so many breaks from each other. Before the final ending, they DESERVED to spend time with each other their whole lives! And THAT is why I struggle to think of ever wanting to rewatch this show. It's heartbreaking! They deserved so much better

In the early seasons, he had been the one to always push the relationship away, and she would push for them to be together, but in the later seasons, it switched, and she was always breaking it off and he was always trying to get them back together. Idk why they couldn't just stay with each other for a whole season.

When I made this, I really didn’t think anyone would watch it but I wanted to make this video so I can look back and rewatch the progression of their epic love story. God. That smile he has for her. I didn't think I would watch this whole thing but I am so happy I did. I cried like a baby knowing the ending. The endearing awkwardness of Felicity towards Oliver. I am so happy Emily was not only in one episode. Arrow would never have been nearly as good. Their chemistry is amazing.

Every time they got closer something bad was keep happening. It’s so sad and amazing at the same time! The arrow show had many downfalls but Olicity is the best thing they did on all the Dc’s shows
When im looking for a romance movie or series and i cant find another one so i rewatch all olicity moments because the definition of romance in general is just their relationship
what i’ve learned from this show is that your past doesn’t define who you will become it only helps you stay on track.
like when they revealed the statue of Oliver, they once feared him, wanted him in jail etc but they were celebrating him because he had the capacity to change because he was surrounded by people that stood by him despite his past, despite all the bad things he did.
I'm kind of struck by the ironic fact that all the while they were calling Oliver The Hood and a bad guy in s1, he was still saving his city by removing/terrorizing all those crooked men (who were mostly big time crimnals screwing with the lives of the people) on the List lol...so much so that on the end of s1 when Oliver was stopping Merlyn's Undertaking, Felicity even told Detective Lance Oliver was actually a hero!

I will forever continue watching this video because I love watching their relationship progress and grow. Their love for each other was remarkable and they couldn’t have picked a better cast. I have watched all of Arrow seasons and know what kind of person Oliver is. He started out as a rich, lazy, billionaire playboy who changed completely into different man after being missing for 5 years. The flashbacks just show much pain and suffering Oliver has went through. And even during his years as Hood/ Arrow and Green Arrow he had to endure so much hardships that it can't be described in writing. He went thorough both physical and mental pain and his actions often pushed others away. Anyone can be attracted to Oliver due to his good looks, but who would actually fall in love with him? Felicity of course. She was first attracted to him like any other women and when they started romance they also had ups and downs due to Oliver's behavior of lying and emotionally betraying others. But she was with him even when others left and because of her love, Oliver was truly happy and became a better man. And when Oliver was finally at peace in the afterlife he also had Felicity with him and they can spend eternity having lovely moments together

This has and always will be my number one couple. In the end I think Oliver and Felicity worked mainly because they didn't know each other before his time on the island. I mean he was an a*s and he hurt a lot of people. But when he came back he changed and she got to meet him when he was trying to do and be better. And I know he was supposed to be with Laurel but that didn't work because there was too much history and too much hurt. Oliver and Felicity didn't have that history.
THIS. I could not agree more. I could never get behind him and Laurel because there was too much damage. He cheated on her with her sister, took her sister with him on the boat. Oliver was just immature and a playboy. Being on the island forced him to grow up. Felicity was his second chance at life. When Oliver returned, he was broken and was on the verge of being consumed entirely by the darkness but it was Felicity who started to light up his darkness and pull him out of it. In her own ways, she was also broken and together they took each other’s broken pieces and melded together to become a whole. Felicity knew who Oliver was and she never shamed him for it. She was supportive, even when they weren’t together. I love them so damn much.

I totally agree about them working because there was no past between them. She wasn't trying to reconcile who he was with who he is. They got a clean slate so to speak because she only knew this Oliver personally while still knowing about his past. They were polar opposites that brought out things in one another and were able to bend and mold until they became one. ❤️

We are ending 2023 and here I am, crying over the devastating bittersweet not so happy ending these two had, at 2:30 am in the middle november because somehow today I remembered this show. Damn it, why did they had to suffer so much?! She wasn't suppose to be a long term character how did she end up being the principal love interest and being so heroic and had such impact on the main?! How?!
