love your tutorials!! I've been tired of vlog style tutorials on youtube where I'd have to sit through watching a guy making coffee for 5 min before getting to the tutorial lol
Yeah, it's really annoying when the first several minutes of a video consists of "WHAT's up everyone I am CookieMonsterBingoBango and today we will get down on something reeeeally cool that happened the other day which I should totally mention before we get to the main topic oh and by the way before we get to that don't forget to smash that Like button and Subscribe to my channel teehee okay now where was I...?".
Lol, i think you're talking about Casey Willax.
I skip his intros sometimes too, but dude has an interesting lifestyle type of channel
L comment , Casey Willax slander is not okay
@@mjtch cw is not everyone's cup of tea
I'm a gymnast, and have been for 6-7 years, so i have quit a lot of experience with spinning.... but i was never able to land my 360 good enough to ride off clean. UNTIL a local parkrat told me that i did not have to turn my head all the way. Locking your head at after only 180 degrees was honestly the KEY for me. Just thought i would let you know in case anybody else is struggeling!
Nice vid!
smoothness is key, don't just full throw into a massive fast spin, patience, and be careful with your back arm, make sure it follows the rotation and that it doesn't get loose and holds you back
Brilliant tip thanks mate
words of wisdom
Just landed my first fs 360 thanks to the tips in this video. landed 2 of them perfect and in my third attempt I flew ass first in to the icy landing and sprained my tailbone. Can't wait til i can ride again! great video anyways!
This info is golden.
I learned it by just sending it
Truuuueee
And that's the difficult part, isn't it? Convincing your damn brain to just send it is like 50% of the job done. I'll let you know when I'll manage to convince mine
@@stespin still haven't been convinced? 😄
@@steezyskate9777 Unfortunately not, with this covid shit everything is closed here in Italy, can't go skiing even if i wanted
@@stespin yo damn fuck dude i can still go to mine and today i'm going to make a little jump on the pond at my house theres a nice slope down to it
this is crazy! this is exactly how i learned my first fs 360s... first on flat... than on a small crappy bump and this year i'll try a little kicker. Thanks snowboard addiction for this perfect videos! i've been watching ur footage since 5 years and its always so infromative. keep on shredding!
You definetly earn more subs. There are so many youtubers that don't deserve that much subscribers. You put a lot of efford in it. Keep going.
Again. So thankful for your tutorials. Learned a bunch of tricks in just a few days and recommended your channel to my friends. Pls keep doing this amazing stuff
I landed my first front 3 today off a jump in the park at 30 years old thanks to your videos. Thanks for the tips! I feel like I've conquered a major roadblock in my riding.
about to try this tomorrow dude! 30 y too xD
@@colourhaze1359 aha me too! Sometime over the next week! 🏂
Awesome tutorial. I like the progression from static (off board) to 270 to finding a side hit. Personally I like to rotate from my core and hips less from upper body. But I can see how teaching beginners to use shoulders and arms would ensure a full rotation.
Such a beautiful trick on a snowboard or skateboard.
One more excelent video! Congrats!
I can do 360s...but even watching this video, I learn more. Great job!
I’m still working on my fs 180s but this vid is very useful once I start practicing these.
such a great tutorial. You guys are the best.
brilliant videos! awesome work guys and very helpfull thank you very much
Great vid really helped me progress
superb tutorial
These videos really help me on groomer trails or jumps I can now land clean Front side 360s still working on backside. It would be great if you could make a video on how to develop clean 360s in powder. I am able to pop but the harder I try to rotate the faster I turn off access.
very good tutorial! thank you
ya rilly helped with my 3 thanks
Great tutorial! Thanx:)
been following you guys for years now and you still make the best videos ever!! thi one is so perfect!! thx
I tried 360s before but couldn't seem to rotate all the way. The landing blind idea seems like it will help a lot. I look forward to trying it out this season.
Props for SA ! You guys rock !! Oh and don't forget about us goofies out there ;)
I got this!!
Accidentally landed my first switch back 3 today off a mogul! I was hitting a lot of 270s (also switch/back) before it happened, so 270 > 360 is a great progression!!!
That is awesome!
cool tips
thx!
is this in Whistler, Canada?? nvm just saw the end... whistler Blackcomb Mtn wish I was there.
Whats your opinion on doing front 180s and 360s off your toe edge. I dont know why but I feel so much more stable spinning off my toes than my heels.
Hi after some advice
I keep landing on my knees/chest especially if the kicker has a steep takeoff. Is it because of dropping that front shoulder or leaning to much heelside. Also Is it better to have your upper body over the board before you pop?
who else saw the first few clips on Instagram 👍 great tutorial 🔥
I always land right on my tail and smack my chest into the ground every time. I am spotting my landing and getting it all the way around, but I keep landing perpendicular to the ground and landing on my face. I think im not leveling out to the landing, and am landing at the same angle i was at the takeoff. Any tips?
Back side is easier, since you can spot your landing.
Ye but lots of people spin fs naturally
How the channel name was created:
"Bro, you have some sort of snowboard addiction"
"Great channel name!"
The end.
whene u were expecting 1000 likes
Thanks SA, that tutorial helped me a lot and I managed to get the trick done while traversing the slope. One thing though, I always land on my heelside (often spin out afterwards). If I am for toeside edge, it usually bucks me over. Any tip on that would be much appreciated.
That is a great question to ask Nev. He could give you a far better answer than I could.
He does a live session every week on ADDICTION+ and can discuss this directly with you. We offer a 30 day free trial and therefore, feel free to sign up, join the session, get the answers from Nev.
You won't be charged anything until after the first 30 days and you can cancel at any time.

@@SnowboardAddiction alright, thanks!
Watch closely and compare Nev’s two jumps at 1:43 and then 1:53. First jump executed with landing leaning downhill with BOTH FEET balance force on toe edge. If you slipping onto your heel edge (like Nev’s second 180) means you must apply more of “blind landing” and lean on your toes downhill to stop spin rather than leaning back onto heel edge. It’s matter of practise so you know how effectively stop the spin by leaning and applying toes with confidence on landing. In nutshell: more blind landing = less spin on landing. Hope that helps ✌️
@@MichalGolata thank you very much, appreciate it!!!
When I try jumps the back seems to slide forward and I eat the snow. Any ideas?
when landing why do you look back instead of looking front? I do not get it, can you please explain?
Thanks! I'm actually planning on trying to land 360s this upcoming season. I can already do flat 270s so I'm really looking forward to landing a 360
Hey idk if youre still alive, but did u manage to pull it off ? If so tell me what helped u most because I’m trying it this season !
My brain:I got it my legs:No, you dont
great vid!!!, but spotting the landing blind is still complicated since knowing where to look for the entire rotation is a problem. Do u guys have any tips?
jesse Vonderen do backside 1's every where all day. Stare at the ground while in the air. Ride switch all the time.
i ride switch all the time and do a lot of back 180 but where do you look at the takoff and where do u spot the landing. Starring at the ground is omethng that might help for orientation.
jesse Vonderen i look at the ground for orientation too. Cuz if i look up and see what really goin on i might panic. Hehe. Just be safe start small. When you do land a smooth one. Quickly burn that feeling in your brain. Just keep being aware of what just happened. Speed. Snow condtions. Angle of jump and landing. Etc. Dont ride high or drunk. Hitting spins off jumps is no joke.
marty maness Sounds Good. I Will try it Next time I’m going snowboarding.
jesse Vonderen its worth the effort. Imo the most fun trick.
i love that you involved skier code in the video so boarders stop acting like jack asses as so many of us do
I ride goofy but spin left . I noticed your regular and spin left. Should I be spinning right ?
Snowboard Addiction ok thank you !
It’s weird my body has a tendency to only want to spin left... I can do back 3s and back 5s but can only front 3 switch... just like in skateboarding I always sucked at doing front 180 down stuff but back 180s no problem
watching a snowboard video while the snow are melting away in NE
Where do I find a trampoline spot that allows snowboards?
Our tramp boards are good to use on any tramp. give your local tramp house a call and see what they say tho.
@@SnowboardAddiction oh the board in the video isn’t a normal snowboard it was a “trampboard”?
Roger
I have the rotation right I just lean back too far 😭
I can do it, I just fall every time because I have trouble blindly landing.
NERPS do a bunch of back 1’s
so how do you decide if you land on your heel or toe edge?
you technically should be landing on a flat base. But I also end up having to correct a bit. Which edge depends on which way I'm spinning, the snow conditions where I'm landing and if I slightly over or undertotated.
If you jump from you heel edge like in the video, you will be slightly corked from leaning into the heel side turn. If you over rotate the spin you will land back on your heels if you under rotate you will land on your toes.
toe edge is better to land on, but harder to do off park jumps; however, if you get good enough at doing that, you can take it off the biggest jump in the world with no problem.
Big
I think backside would be easier, I’m goofy
Yo who’s just got a trampoline to practice on
You shouldnt even think about a 360 if u cant jump or do 180's.
This vid is honestly more for begging/intermediate riders
Can you redo this whole video goofy foot? Hahhh.
