- The jump from SNES to N64 brought up some incredible changes to F-Zero, a lot that has lasted to this day. But I want to dive in a little with the combat. Side attacking and spin attacking.
Not in terms of using them for speedy exploits, but rather...in the art of aggression.
And fittingly, we will be using Pico with the Wild Goose.

I think this is probably the most accurate display of how Pico would race. While we know he’s an aggressive racer, I think it’s confirmed in GX that he was responsible for “The Huge F-Zero Accident,” and we can only assume that it looked similar to what is shown in the video. Bravo!

I know GX is considered the best in the series, but I had so much fun playing X! Space Plant was my favorite track.

See also: X Cup, in which the randomly generated tracks sometimes have turns too tight for the AI. So you get to watch most of the rest of the field turn into essentially a super sized Rolling Thunder kill streak.

I love how everyone who plays as Pico makes it their goal to just murder the other racers... Can't lose if everyone else is dead.
This is a pretty well made video. Are you able to hide the emulator bar on the top next time? I think it is distracting while viewing the gameplay. Otherwise nice job explaining one of my favorite games!

You'd need to get a Nintendo 64 emulator. Project 64 is often most reccomended. You will also need a F-Zero X ROM to use it.

Wait, how do you get extra lives?
Take out five racers in a single race. After that you won't get any more even if you take out ten or fifteen.
Wait, how do you spin?
On a N64 controller, Hold Z and double tap R (and vice versa).
