I totally disagree with all the experts who rank Hall so low. What are you basing that on ? He’s played well in the few games he’s been given a chance, far too much negativity aimed at the lad.
I mean... He scored a goal in the Champion's League... Come on guys!

The reason is clearly financial, to prevent some contract clauses from being activated and the price from rising. This happens in many clubs
Hopefully big Joe signs his deal it would cost a fortune to get a player to do what he does for the team, plus Brazilians are quite family centric so it will keep Bruno happy for a while as well imo.

It's the same with Italians. Tonali would be at ease if there was another Italian in the team. It must be a Latin thing.
As always love the post guys and the thriller element on when you will get thrown out of training pitch. On Hall it’s not what Eddie says but his body language is negative when talking about him, almost certainly not a player he wanted. When you then focus on FFP it makes even less sense as it tied our hands for further signings. Hope Gordon gets England call

I'm praying that Longstaff, Almiron, Murphy go and hopefully bring 3 others in that can pass a ball to a team mate, and not fall over at the slightest of touch.

How come you two don't ask the awkward questions to Eddie regarding Lewis Hall,why he isn't getting the experience or chance to play,instead of being an expensive bench warmer it must be so frustrating for the lad,especially with all the injuries the team has had this season. Come on, lads do your job your journalists you are supposed to questions and press Eddie on this matter as us fans want to know the reason .
Because we all know the answer, Eddie Howe doesn’t think he’s ready. Lewis Hall was one of the main topics of today’s press conference btw, and Howe called for patience in regards to his development.

Howe already answered that question. He said he wasnt were he needs him to be, and that's probably because hes a player with not much experience, so maybe struggles with certain instructions etc. Gordon was further along in development than Hall, and he was hardly used much last season, and admitted he was not even close to being fit enough physically, or mentally.

Where do you get the info from that 4 players are leaving? None of this was said in the press conference? You are privileged to be in the press area, but don't abuse it and make stuff up. Nobody knows anything. Simple as that
There are four players out-of- contract this summer and therefore, as it stands, are set to leave. I feel like we justify the title with in our discussion. At no point would we ever make stuff up.

Hall very near to a deal to stay. Also Lascelles is to trigger a one year extension on his contract. Get you facts right or get a real job to make your money.

I genuinely would keep Gillespie, he’s a player who doesn’t kick up a fuss about playing time and is happy to be 4th choice. He also keeps the Geordie roots in the dressing room.
He should just get a coaching role or formally become the mascot.

@@GeordieJournos Jordan did you know Chelsea have put Lewis Hall’s transfer in there latest accounts 🤷♂️while Newcastle haven’t and are probably waiting until June so it comes off next year’s accounts🤷♂️ but I’m sure Hall knows why he’s not playing much due too him agreeing too the loan contract so he must be happy, anyway I’m sure he’ll be a success once he gets more game time the lad does have quality and obviously Howe sees weaknesses in his game but he’ll be better for this next season. 👍
