It’s funny how here in North America we literally have every single type of culture city or town (Chinatown, Montréal, Little Switzerland, New Orleans, etc) yet all of the rest of the world doesn’t have a city based around American culture! I guess you could say China, but they copy everything, even the Eiffel Tower…
@@zekeyeager1458 i think it’s because of European/Asian/African immigration to North America. America as we know it today is still a pretty new country, and is very culturally mixed, which is what makes North America North America.
Europeans, Asians Africans had centuries to develop their cultural identity so their culture might be rooted deeper and more identifiable compared to today’s North American, as American culture is based off many cultures. American culture is not as identifiable as European Asian or African because they had centuries to build theirs if it makes sense ?
@@DosuKinu I’d disagree, ever heard of Americana? I think it’s not as identifiable because of the diversity, however there are certain environmental factors that can make American culture identifiable, such as city layout, state layout, “comfort food”, lots of land, and suburbia. Many more factors play into this that many fail to recognize but I think the fact that we just have a ton of land, like Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the mainland makes the country very diverse and hard to recognize. I don’t think the age of a country matters much because ya know the land has always been there, but ya know, colonialism and imperialism. I mean just look at Japan. They aren’t older than many Asian countries and not as old as Europe history-speaking yet they seem to be one of the most cultured nations in the world. Although the idea and measurement of how cultural a country is really based upon its age is quite a subjective manor, as to why I can’t give a definitive answer
