Our attacks just slow down so much. We cycle possession through midfield really quickly and then we dawdle on the edge of the box and let them get more and more players back. Our boys need to start seeing these runs and playing incisive passes more in those situations. We saw Fulham attack once and they immediately got the ball into the box and forced a good save. We're not doing that at all.
was thinking about this.... you're right, the play moves so quickly but as soon as we get to the box it slows down and we the entire opposing midfield tracking back to defend and while we're still passing back and forth along the edge of the box all of a sudden theres no more space to play forward. the times we actually don't slow down is when we actually score goals!

Cole Palmer 'player of the season, thus far' for Chelsea? You are having a laugh. And I heard another pundit say they did not know where the Chelsea goals are going to come from. It's pretty obvious where the goals for Chelsea are coming from because 70 percent of the goals Chelsea have scored have had some significant involvement of one player and that player is Raheem Sterling. One would think that is an exaggeration as he gets no credit from the media or pundits, but we saw it again today in Sterling doing the difficult part of winning the penalty. You can always bet a goal Chelsea scores will have Sterling creating the mayhem in the opposition box, a penalty being won by Sterling, a free kick being scored by Sterling, Sterling making a break through the defense, Sterling driving the team forward in a counter attack, Sterling creating an assist (and I mean a proper assist, not the jokes being called assists other players are being credited for) or Sterling scoring a goal out of nothing because the rest of the team are incapable of providing assists for him or anybody else in the team or even scoring the assists Sterling provides for them which they go on and miss and has resulted in the high misses stat Chelsea has. This is no surprise as most of these players have won and achieved nothing while historically Sterling has won and achieved almost everything and shown he can almost single-handedly drag a team to a final of a competition as he did England. It's common sense that he would have such a great influence on a team containing players mostly who have achieved nothing in their careers, including Palmer who was not good enough to make the Man City team, is not in the England starting line up and now under the cover of goal stats superficially raised by penalties other players could take, but kindly let him take them, they want us to believe is the reason for every Chelsea win. Of course despite all this, just like when they gave the man of the match to Cole Palmer, pundits like Nicol will say Palmer is the reason for this Chelsea win, but I will say Chelsea can thank their lucky stars Sterling was on the pitch because once again they all failed to find a way through a low block defense, but Sterling, the only player capable of finding a way through, was there to hand them the keys through the skill of winning a penalty others in the team do not have, though once again no matter how many times he does this he will get no credit for it. Palmer is being allowed to take penalties out of kindness, but someone else could take it and the result of a goal would be the same. Where will the Chelsea goals come from? The answer is easy. Sterling is a fighter and will make the significant move to find a way through, even if it is by winning a penalty which is not easy to do. Peace an love
Can I tell you, when Sterling is the go to man in this Chelsea side....that's the testament of how low the team has fallen..... Sterling should be a bench warmer if Chelsea is serious to be a top team again.
