Hey, would you mind letting knowa couple things in reference to the unit. 1. What’s the sqft you’re cooling with ac? Did you use their chart to figure out what size unit you needed to purchase? 2. If I heard you correctly, you’re in Canada, what’s the setting you’ve been having the ac set on? In the last 3mo any significant increase to the utility or compared to this time last year, should be on current bill, the usage rate? I’m not trying to get into your personal business, I’m in S. Louisiana, not only is it hotter than hell here, but it’s more humid than anyone can imagine & then some! I’m just trying not to waste money that’s all! I appreciate any feedback!

For a horizontal/vertical, you do need to cut it in order to fit it perfectly in your window. I'm sure you can find many tutorials on here for a vertical/horizontal window. Best of luck!
So the manual says the condensate water collected in ac mode is used to cool the condensor and exhausted through the hose. And I haven't had to drain it so far so I'd say that's pretty accurate

It looks like there is some kind of cover over half the vent where the air blows out.
i have this canadian model and works great for a low price, just over $200 US. Electric cord could be a foot longer, else ok.

Found the video but it’s for a tilt window. The slider doesn’t fit in a horizontal window. Do I need to cut it?

You can set it all the way down to 16C and let me tell you, it does feel like the fridge!

@@MrTechSpective Yes u do.When the tank is full it will shut off automatically.Drain then use as normal

Not on fan or ac mode
