There are so many copycats popping up with these kind of videos lately, but none really capture the atmosphere and tone of the city like you do. Each episode is its own unique story and I cannot get enough. Thank you.

I agree. It's definitely not the same, probably because I am from New York, but also because I only see them as "copycats". Karen does capture the essence of the city by also including beautiful scenery.
Karen is the one and only
Karen definitely filled a space that was left empty at the death of Bill Cunningham, the photographer from NYT that documented street wear in the city for decades.
Karen focuses more on the fashion crowd than Bill did, but I appreciate her work all the same. It's so important to document these things.
There are now a few street style CZcamsrs doing videos like this, and Karen is by far the best one. She understands and cares about fashion, and asks the best questions. Truly a joy to watch. Thank you, Karen!

While we are all inspired by these looks, I bet Karen’s good vibes has also made (or even saved) these people their day. I hope that 10-20 years from now, New York will look into their archives and see that this series (hopefully still ongoing) is actually part of NY CULTURE. Karen may be brit, but she definitely uplifts NY pride.

Love, love, love these episodes! You have inspired me to explore fashion and style by showing that fashion has no restriction of age, gender, or cultural identity. I live in a community in Delaware that is quite conservative and laid back when it comes to fashion and style. At freshly turning 70, I am ready to take my style up another notch, so this video was at a perfect time! I am often receiving criticism from my “age related” friends that I need to step back from the fashion forward styles and embrace my age more and it’s restrictions…SERIOUSLY??!! I often dress in a classic look, but frequently love to throw on a pair of Docs, a quirky wide belt, or some very cool statement jewelry. I find it funny when we meet for our monthly lunch dates to get the “lecture”. I get excited planning my outfit as I know it’s going to just p*** a couple of the girls off! 🤗🤪🤣 Keep these videos coming!!!!
I always think that fashion is a feeling or a personal emotion. Like how we feel different everyday, we wake up dressing differently each time. Keep owning your style! 🙏🏾

I just think fashion and style is a fun journey filled with greater self awareness! Oh, and I absolutely love that Michael has blossomed into such a style icon as well. He’s a sweetheart!!!
Age is a number - you're only as old as you feel. Some of Karen's previous episodes have included older ladies absolutely rocking their own style, and I bet you look amazing pairing more classic pieces with a good pair of Docs!
I totally agree! There is an episode featuring 2 older women with one wearing a coat with a graphic print on the back. There was a piece that I wanted from a sight that I was on the fence about until I watched that episode. I immediately ordered it!
Brava sister! Are you me? I'm 64, get that a lot including from my sister whose a couple of years younger but far more restrained/conservative. Go girl!
Whenever I feel blah about getting dressed, or getting up, I just watch one of these videos, and get a jolt of inspiration. The two gorgeous people in the vintage, "old lady" clothes warmed my heart....they exuded such joy, such fun in getting dressed. Karen and these videos are a tonic for my soul.

I miss this series! I love the way all of them styled themselves but the first woman in the Esprit t-shirt was my favorite because I used to LOVE Esprit clothing back in the day! I didn’t know they were still around.

Loved every bit of this, and the guy with the Ralph Lauren vintage bag now has me searching for something similar and that person in all red with that Longchamp netted bag made me realize how wonderful Longchamp netted bags are. Your platform has changed a lot since I first subscribed, and since I don't care at all about overpriced so-called "luxury", not that I begrudge you having it, I enjoy these videos so much more! I am also from New York, and I agree that one of the best things about living in New York is that you can wear anything you want and always Fit In! I have been greatly inspired by these videos, despite no longer living in New York. I also take inspiration from your purge videos and several of your other style content from years ago. Every year, particularly in the fall/winter months, I go back to your color combination video to figure out what I want to put together. I tend to thrift with you in mind. I always ask myself, "Would Karen buy this?" or I say to myself, "This is so Karen!" and I buy it. I miss your vintage shopping videos. They were a lot of fun!
