Are Gibson's Donuts any good? I always just hit up the Krispy Kreme over on Elvis Presley Blvd. because they always serve the glazed donuts fresh out of the oven even at like 3:30am when you're hungry as hell and are willing to take the extra 25 minutes of driving just to down an entire box of a dozen delicious donuts and then head back home. I see that sign every time I pass the store (Mt. Moriah? can't ever remember exactly which street it's on).
They are... I mean, if warm glazed donuts are your thing then Krispy Kreme is just fine... but if you want maple bacon that'll blow your mind Gibson's can't be beat!
I think that means I'm going to go pick up some apple fritters sometime this week because those just looked absolutely delicious and had me starving the entire time. The idea to make burgers out of them is just even more genius and made me so hungry that I had to calm my nerves with an entire Red Baron four-meat pizza.
