It really was a challenging situation there, the darkness of the bunker, people that can come at you from any direction whilst trying to use the water to get to level 3, only to discover that there is someone in there with Gas grenades and traps!
I'd been in the bunker 3 times before that and hadn't run into too much trouble.
Definitely a fun experience and teaming up with people on DayZ is always risky but fun!

Hi, it was me sitting there.
I got stuck at level 2 because it was my first time exploring the bunker. I tried to team up with couple of survivors earlier that day, BUT they said they will help me to get out and fucking lied and tried to kill me, so I was in great tilt after that situation. My mistake I didn’t even tried to ask you and the boys for help, buuut DayZ is DayZ, you can't trust random people. Especially after such a betrayal. So, I tried stop you with that POX Vial thing, you heard it. Then I was just sitting there. I placed landmine (unlucky guy picked the exact tent with it) and 2 claymores (I had no idea it activates with detonator) and waited for a PVP to get my ticket to spawn and try to get someone with me.
The most RIDICULOUS thing is that you DIDN'T kill me xd
Probably there was some kind of problem with server because it crashed (you got kicked out of the server after the kill in video) or it's just a new bug in 1.19, no idea, I didn't press the respawn button in the menu after death, I Alt+F4'ed the game on the "You are dead" screen. 15-20 minutes later I loggeg in again and I was alive, heard you were already downstairs prepairing to leave the place. My whole character duplicated with all my loot and I had the same bug with no darkness in bunker like you had, so I took leftovers from bodies and went to sleep.
Usually I try to be friendly but those 2 assholes left me not in a friendly mood, anyway it was kinda fun and tense play there and you got great content :)
P.S. Before you ask, I didn't streamsnipe, I saw the grenade launcher kill clip the day after on twitch and was pretty shocked it was you xd

This has to be the single best PvP encounter I have ever seen imo. One guy managing to take down two, and probably you as well if it wasn't for the noob tube, just by being smart as hell. This is what DayZ has always been about to me, ggs and great vid.
@TherunningManZ love these man. This one was absolutely crazy. What an adrenaline rush this game always is. For anyone thinking of getting it? Do it. Just remember that it takes time to get to this level of skill. You're going to have to walk away from it sometimes but don't give up because once you get going, you get the proverbial, "bite". Once you do, it's so much fun and what I love about this game is you're exercising your brain constantly to survive and get better. Attention to detail is of utmost importance. There's a reason this game is absolutely amazing and has been for so long. And people like runningmanz just make it so much better.

I'm writing this comment halfway through the video and I'm really enjoying it. Not only is it a miracle team up, its also one of the most unique PvP experiences I've ever seen, in terms of gear and location.
It honestly makes for a very cinematic video! The way you can't easily wear NVG's and NBC. The constant use of gas grenades and traps. Locked in a bunker the only good escape being the man left at the controls for the water. All bets are off, no amount of respawning can return the usage of the Punch-Card.

Hey Paul, I wanted to say watching your videos taught me enough that it won me a tough situation the other day. I haven't played PVP much, I've got 300 hours in the game but only started to try to fight players in the last few months. Yesterday me and my buddy got in a fight with a ghillie suit fellow who we thought was alone. He ended up having a friend but me and my buddy ended up in an apartment building. My buddy died right as we spotted the ghillie guy who was shooting at us.
I don't think he realized we were a pair so he moved toward the building, I shot and missed and he went back into cover. Thanks to your tactics and clever plays I thought, well they'll want to kill me or loot my buddy and so they're going to have to come into this building. In the few seconds after I shot I decided to break for the building across the street and hope they don't see me and that they think I'm holding out inside.
I set up across the street in the apartment directly across from the entrance where I could see if they entered the building I was now in and the entrance to the building where my buddy died. Wouldn't you know it, two of them popped up in the entrance of the building my dead buddy was in. I was just expecting the ghillie guy, we hadn't even realized there were two actively fighting us, and I managed to kill them both and avenge my buddy. Just barely, mind you. It took 1 shot to kill the other guy but the ghillie guy had armor and took 3 hits to drop and he almost lined me up I think. But it felt great to tell my buddy I got them and he could make his way back to his body.
It felt god damn incredible, Paul. Thanks to you and my buddy who's getting me into the PVP side, I'm appreciating this aspect of the game I've mostly ignored most my time playing the standalone and mod version. It's so intense, I've failed miserably 3/4's of the time thus far but have gotten better and better with each win or loss. But using crafty tactics like baiting a player who I felt was well above me in skill was something I doubt I'd have thought of without watching your clever plays and I wanted to just shout it out to ya if you ever see this.
Thanks for getting me back into DayZ, the game is truly so much better than when I initially bought the standalone. I remember buying it the day it went into EA and my goodness it's basically a whole new game and is so damn smooth now. Still janky here and there but more intentionally so than it used to be. It's so much more enjoyable, it's so fun and you've gotten me playing Namalsk and other maps too where I was only playing vanilla before. Thanks again, buddy.
Seeing how you used different approaches for different situations in every video you make. Sometimes you use tactics, sometimes you stalk, sometimes you mag dumb, sometimes you talk your way out or into something, you've completely changed my perspective on the PVP aspect of the game. I was always okay with PVP being there but didn't want to partake and that's changed for me, watching you plumb the depths of the bunker here with some jerk being a tunnel rat and figuring out what he was doing and what you need to do, it's all so interesting. Each video truly is like a movie and that is what makes DayZ just so hard to replicate. Almost nothing else quite has the blend that it has. It's really something and I thank you again and say thank goodness the game has a good player base again.
Not gonna lie, this was my favorite video he made. Felt the rush and tension through the screen. :D

One of the things I love most about DayZ is that it keeps throwing new challenges at you, both PVP and PVE. It never gets old. And of course, there are always Paul's streams and videos to love.
Watching this is a like a horror film. Creepy ass bunker with a maniac gassing sections and mines could be anywhere.

At 33:00 ironically when you are saying "we heard the glass break" you can hear ANOTHER pox grenade break presumably him gassing out the stair entrance to level 2 that you guys eventually run into. What a clever guy.

There was some gas nades in the room where you shot the m79 nades, that exploded them and triggered the gas.
The gas was there before he shot the Nade tho wasn't it? He saw the gas and the water started flowing and he said "I was gonna nade it" if I'm not mistaken

They need to implement "no spawn" zones into special areas on all maps. Its rediculous that people can essentially live in the bunker, and in the submarine on namalsk and any other places like that. Perhaps they could let you log out and log back in within 30 minutes or so but there needs to be a limit. After 30 minutes you get randomly spawned somewhere else.
Ya definitely not. If the server crashes while im in there and the server doesn't fix it itself for an hour I better still be in the same spot and not have to do the whole mission again when I log. I agree logging out alt accounts in there is going to cause a big problem. But time limit spawn in is definitely not the solution.

I’m pretty sure that you were the one who set off the gas grenade whenever you were already inside floor 3. You fired the m79 into that room and those gas grenades spawn in there
I feel like that guy was always in level 2 not 3, he could’ve threw a gas grenade at the wall that divides level 2 and 3 to stop you guys getting into level 3. Also you heard the smash of glass from him throwing it when you was under level 2. This also could be the reason why he was alone because you can get to level 2 solo.

What is this map? There is a lot of locations where their names sound so polish. Even inscription above the skeleton that you passed by in bunker was in polish "I cant escape"
I've had that nvg brightness bug lots of times in the bunker, I think it as something to do with the weather which causes it.
