Yep, MSG was sold out in 20 minutes by Rammstein. It's a stunning opener. If you check out the full opener, you'll see some fire as well.
What I probably love most about Till´s singing is how he perfectly switches between singing, Sprechgesang, talking and growling to accentuate the passage of the lyrics. He get´s me every time incl. goosebumps.
Rammstein could have sold out MSG five times. The tickets were gone after 20 minutes.
And the tickets are really expensiv 😢

In Poland I have paid 125 euro, so its about 140 dollars 😮😮 and by you they are expensive, maybe because they must travel so far with all the equipment 🤔🤔

Pronunciation was perfect! The cheek piercing can be seen in the official video for "Ich tu dir weh" (not to be confused with the live from MSG, which is waay better than the official one)
The band was in the beginning from Eastgermany before the WALL fall in 1989 in Berlin there first ALBUM was produced in SWEDEN..

Till used to have a piercing in his cheek that he would run the cable to light up his mouth but it ended up getting infected. So now he just has it running from the side into his mouth.

YEAH, he’s jacked! According to Flake’s second book, the whole band lifts weights…except Flake, he just walks absofuckinglutely everywhere…and Till has one of those boxing torso/head things that gets carted to venues for him to punch, and I’ve seen a picture of Schneider sitting in front of a mirror while Till does pushups behind him.
GOAT live band. MSG is too small of a venue for them now🤘🤘👍👍

Thanks for reacting! My absolute favourite song, the best concert opening ever! So powerful, that they didn't even need to use much pyro 🤣 Just see some other Rammlied recordings from LIFAD tour, you'll see how spectacular idea for the entrance they had 😎
And generally - although on Rammstein concert you can get your eyebrows fried, they are very wise with their use of special effects. If they used pyro in every single song, that would soon become kinda boring and predictable. Usually they start the concert with one big bang, then slowly go through the initial songs, and pyro is introduced a bit later than you would expect. But it is always top notch 😁

You just realized till was jacked 😱. This was him in his 50s, he was huge when he was younger 😂. You should check out their old shows too like live aus berlin. I was constantly watching that when i was a teen
Till was an Olympic Swimmer for the DDR (GDR), but a combination of sneaking out to party and buy porn in a training camp in Italy, and injuries, got him kicked off the team. Hence he is a strongly built man.

The more the show goes on, the more fire works there will be. That's why the first songs only have physical or light effects, but the last songs... They have the best fire effects.
No joke thete is no competion these guys gave the most incredible show for the eyes and the ears. Heck i could literally feel it to! The heat of the fire of course. It basically ruined all other entertainment. Saw them in 2022 in chicago. Waited two years because of covid. Finally the day came and i actually teared up when it was over. I soooo didnt want it to stop. I dont tear up easily. Anyhow best experience EVER!😊

Picture this, Alamo dome 3 floor 50 yard line stage was past the end zone top of the stage was almost hitting the ceiling. That far away we could still feel the heat from the pyro. Then the floor pyro goes off and it feels like I was next to a bonfire.
I was at the San Antonio show! BUT i was in the floor and happened to be next to a flamethrower and I cannot describe how boiling hot it felt down under. I was literally drenched in sweat and my skin was seearing, nevertheless IT WAS THE SHOW OF A LIFETIME it truly was more than I expected 🔥
@@ulisescabrera1058ahh this gave me the chills. That would be the only exception for me as I normally can’t tolerate heat very well. But with R+ I don’t mind the scorching heat… Finally seeing them live for the first time in July and I can’t wait 😍

Check out "Till Lindemann" is (was) a german-swedish Metal Project by Rammstein Singer Till Lindemann and the swedish Musician Peter Tägtgren. The latter played all the Instruments for the Band until 2020. The Band officially existed since January 2015. In November 2020, the Musicians announced the End of the Collaboration and a continuation of the Band under Lindemann's sole aegis. Greets from Germany 🦇🤘
Yes the project was called Lindemann until P Tägtgren left. It's now called Till Lindemann and the new song have been composed by Sky Van Hoff the sound engineer for R Kruspe on the Rammstein's gigs.
Rammstein can sell out a full arena IN Paris and have the entire crowd chanting and singing along in German. I personally find this more amazing then selling out MSG. Think of that in regards to world history and how badly things when for France durring World War II

Till Lindeman was an Olympic quality swimmer. Was set to compete for the east German national swim team, but suffered a torn stomach muscle that kept him out of it and ended his athletic career.

Selling out MSG certainly was a big deal in 2010 - but these days with their 2019,2022,2023 Stadium Tour they sell out stadiums with 60000+ people within 30 minutes. This year they'll play the Munich olympic stadium 4 days in a row ...

....if Americans want to see a regular Rammstein's show they will have to go to Europe. At some point the band stayed some time in NYC and discovered MSG. They insisted on trying that against producers, lawyers and insurance minds.

I dont get whats so impressive to sell less then 20 000 tickets in a city as big as New York.
Rammstein sold 110 000 tickets to their concerts in Sweden in less then one hour so they had to add another 3rd show to their stop here with another 55 000 tickets.

The title, just as rammstein is a made up word that means sm th like the ramm song, little bit like an hymn.
Yes they sold out MSG in 20mns. But more than that it was a test to set a new tour in the states. Previously they had loads of problems due mainly to the different législation on pyrotechnics and the producers didn't want to take too much risks. So they were attending 2000 to 3000 ppl's venues though they were 10000 to 20000 in Europe. Americans were getting unhappy and Paul déclared

Your pronunciation of Rammlied was spot on, you need to have more trust into google translate. And no its not Rammleid or Rammlid its Rammlied and the IE is a Vocal called a long i which means it has to get a bit longer. Hope this helped and no i'm no linguist but a German nativ speaker.
