Thanks for spreading awareness on appendicitis. I was like Dave as well when I had my appendicitis. I am autistic so was afraid of everything around. I think I may have PTSD from the experience as well. It was also pretty cool. I got to learn about different things in a hospital setting so it was a learning experience too

I screamed then fainted during IV insertion, it felt like 2 minutes sleeping with no dreams. When I woke up, everything was blurry and my fingers were numb. I thought I was dying or something crazy, lol, nobody told me to expect it.

I had appendicitis too in December 2022, I nearly collapsed on a school trip when it struck, antibiotics worked in treating it and painkillers worked, but if it happens again, I will have to have an operation. Good thing the NHS exists, free healthcare for everyone.
