In collaboration with FUJIFILM, Magnum Photos is on a major new project exploring the subject of "HOME". An exhibition of the work will tour to seven cities around the world starting in March 2018, and be accompanied by a photobook.
16 Magnum Photographers will explore the theme of “HOME” for the project. Known for their wide range of approaches, Magnum Photos members produce documentary photography that encompasses art and photojournalism. Sharing the agency’s legacy for humanistic photography, associated with its founding in 1947, Magnum’s contemporary practitioners are united by a curiosity about the world. This project invites them to explore a universal subject familiar to us all.
“Home” is not only defined as a space for physical living. It holds various other associations that are emotional, biological, cultural and societal. These 16 photographers have been given an open brief to explore the subject through their own individual practices, the resulting work reflecting their personal take on a subject that we all record photographically.

Disraeli Demon completely agree.....these videos should be about the story and art of photography.....ironic that a video about art and communication should be ruined by a terrible sound edit!

Same thought as Disraeli Demon - background music has totally overwhelmed what Alex is saying. Love these videos but this one was hard to enjoy because of that.
C'mon Mangum turn the background music volume down!! at some point i thought to turn on subs to understand what Majoli said
Most „Fujifilm“ sponsored videos of this serieus needs a re-upload because of the annoying music. Please consider it.👍
I like to hear the voice of the artist who does the work.
His wife is half American, half Dutch, half Iranian... How many half has?? She is one and half wife!
The background music choice and loudness is ridiculous.
Home Magnum produce some very nice video content however, as with other comments; the inclusion of inappropriate and excessively loud music detracts from what should be an interesting and enjoyable story.

Well, I've sampled five of these Magnum 'HOME' productions now, each time hoping to hear what a photographer of particular interest to me had to say. Sadly, in every instance, their words were largely drowned out by music that could hardly have been more inappropriate for the piece in the first place. I very much appreciate these shorts being posted, but you do yourselves, and the photographers, a great disservice when the commentaries are walked all over like this.
The music completely drowns out Alex's voice. I had to turn subtitles on.

his work is fantastic but this video is unwillingly hilarious! The music! How many halfs his wife is from!
Fujifilm may know things about images, but not about sound. Music is too high, unnescessary high! ;) But it is a general problem for CZcams, many videos have very high music, so apparently when you Edit you get a 'normal' but wrong sound image, and it must be change in the software!
A great photographer talking about life and work. A music that sounds like a it’s been composed for a gigantic historic movie. An advice for the creator of these series: please read something about the professional use of music in film or just leave the music out. That’s better anyway. This is just confusing and a shame for the artists that are so important.
What is this "game of thrones" or something? My gosh, so much drama and volume in this track that I just want to sell everything and buy this camera....
