In the artists defense, creating comics is very hard and takes a lot of work, plus time constraints so the have to rush these things.

Speaking of legends: darkstalker, indigo is described as holding her spear in one HAND instead of talon.
Because I think talon means fingers for dragons so they should have made it indgo held her spear with her talons I haven't read that book yet though

Another mistake: Moonwatcher was able to read Onyx's mind while she had the skyfire amulet on.

It’s when Moon has the scavenger. You can see clear as day Onyx’s head there and her thoughts for anyone looking.

I know of another Drawing/Coloring mistake! I can't remember the page number, but in the aftermath of the cave explosion, Tamarin's scales change colors from white to normal and back to white! Little tricky to spot since she's at the bottom of the box when we see the error, but she's there. Some of the other ones you'd pointed out in the video I hadn't noticed though!

@@trilobite3120 Turning white for a RainWing usually indicates they're in pain, but I don't believe there's been any mention of a RainWing's scales frequently flashing from white to normal .It would be a cool idea though!

Heres one ive never seen mentioned: when moon & turtle are walking to the underground lake, what Moon is suppoaed to be thinking about the "dark scheduled spot" is in a speech bubble.
Well I have a guess at why Darkstalker’s teardrop is missing!! Moon originally got his image from a scroll (In the actual novel anyhow) and because of Darkstalker’s reputation and crimes, maybe the illustrator for the scroll deliberately left his teardrop scales out so mind reading wouldn’t be associated with Darkstalker.
Idk if I’m reading too deep into this but that’s my interpretation anyhow

When I read the book I noticed how the sandwing and mudwing was swapped, also noticed how there were 3 silver teardrop scales on moon, nice to see that someone else found other mistakes

Well, I don't think they're not reading just because of these mistakes. The plot is still good, and the characters don't look bad.
in the scene where winter and moon were fighting over his scaveger, when winter said "WHATS YOUR NAME" or smth like that moonwatcher had a headache and there was a certain bubble next to onyx's head that said "I cant beleive she stole his scavenger!" when onyx was clearly wearing her skyfire

It’s on page 44
a bit unrelated but in winter turning the title/spine on the graphic novel is misspelled as “turniing” and every single copy of the book is like that

I'm pretty sure the teardrop one was due to Moon not knowing much about Darkstalker.
I forgot the page number but another error appears after hunting where moon bites a big chunk of goat, the scales on her snout just decided to disappear

Also , you missed the mistake where Onyx also is colored incorrectly which is on the same exact page where her diamonds aren’t colored.

i have 1 more mistake qibli is missing his nose scar on some pages but has it on others
Mistake: on page 66 you can hear onyxes thought WHEN she has skyfire on.
Btw moon canonically has two teardrops by each eye, presumably because she was born under two moons, which gives me reason to support my headcanons ^^
1 moon = 1 teardrop
2 moons = 2 teardrops
3 moons = 3 teardrops

another mistake: in page 110, moon waves a kinkajou, who was lying on the grass with tamarin sleeping while in page 111, when moon arrived at the placeshe wanted to be, an saw kinkajou and tamarin was chatting with starflight.
I was confused when Kinkajou got the sandwing and mud wing confused, because she’d have seen two of those tribes already multiple times.
She didn’t get them confused, it was a drawing mistake

Another mistake is that in the chapter book when she sees clay, it shows she might have a crush on him but in the gn, shr dosent think that
That's not really a mistake, that just seems like a small detail in the Chapter Books that was cut out of the Graphic Novel for the sake of time.
Umm on the page where Qibli’s closeup is HE IS MISSING HIS SCAR UMM YOU DID NOT POINT OUT ALL THE MISATKESS
I did a previous video where I mentioned how Qibli’s scar is missing a lot in the graphic novels, as well as the cover of his book

I swear I remember the word "birthday" being said in one of the books but as because dragons hatch from eggs and scarlet in book one did mention "hatchday" , it was just wierd ( if this never happened pls tell me)
Funfact: the three teardrop scales are actually just two sweat! She has her scales and the others are just her nervously sweating

When I got the wings of fire book six I immediately started reading it and when I got to page 65 I saw the mistake and I was very confused and a bit angry😅
you know, in one of the pages? Moon was hearing the thoughts of dragons wanting the fight? well, it turns out she could hear Onyx because if you look at her head, she's wearing this sort of tiara contraption. idk how they let that happen, but i know it for a fact was Onyx
Also why moon in front cover (not the dragon Moon) so big?

There’s a load of mistakes in these graphic novels, for example in the first one when peril is freeing kestrel by melting the metal screen while standing on it

Oh also, if you look at when moon is looking at turtle, his armband is on his wrist. If you look at book 10s (the novel) cover, you will notice it’s on his arm, not his wrist?

Well, in the DarkStalker book it said that DarkStalker was a Thrice-MoonBorn NightWing. Moon was a Twice-MoonBorn so that doesn’t mean DarkStalker has that.

One more mistake. On page 119 Darkstalker is missing his silver teardrop scale, and he is described to have prophecy and mind reading I have the book too uwu

1:27 the nightwings at the time didnt know that silver scales had anything to do with the power
For some reason my copy has the sandwing and mudwing fixed the mudwing on top and sandwing on the side matching the tribe names

Well that’s because she was acting as Queen Oasis, who as a barb
I always thought that the mudwings and sandwings were swaped bc Kinkajoo never really sees or meets a normal sandwing or mudwing (Sunny is a hybrid, and clay was born from a red egg)

Sunny is the female SandWing-NightWing hybrid dragon who's the protagonist in book 5, The Brightest Night. Qibli is the male SandWing dragon (not hybrid) who's the protagonist in book 10, Darkness of Dragons

I just want to point out that kinkajou is a dragonet who is still learning, so that’s her minds mistake. NOT a mistake by the author. It just a little fun think that kinkajou got wrong and it makes her character more lively. Again, this is NOT a mistake by the author. It would also make sense for rainwings to not know what sandwings and Mudwing really look like, since they didn’t adventure out much before glory. But it’s still where they would atleast know a BIT about them.
They forgot onyx had skyfire (the page where winter asks for moon's name )
She also has a normal toinge instead of it being forked

On page 66, Moon can hear Onyx thinking and on 135 Onyx is seen having 3 gems on each scale instead of just 1. I think there is a second page where Moon can hear Onyx but i can;t find it so yeah this is all i have

wtf is the point of this like it doesn’t fix the mistakes, or make them any better. why not appreciate the beautiful artistry and effort that went into instead? Why care that they drew or forget to draw a few lines, when there’s an entire gorgeous book of intricate illustrations?
I appreciate the graphic novels, and I don’t think the few minor drawing mistakes ruin them. I’m just pointing them out for fun because I find in interesting

heres a FREQUENT error throughout every single graphic novel, every dragon's bone structures (except maybe the dragonet prophecy dragons) are completely wrong

@@andecidreweye it may just be mike doing his own thing but the bone structures of the designs in the books compared to the graphic novels is very different
