The BMW K1600GT with 160hp is much more sporty than the K1200LT. With only 116 hp the K1200LT is much like a Honda Goldwing: big, heavy, slow(er), but loads of comfort. The K1600GT is like the R1250RT, but with a greater wheelbase, higher acceleration and higher top speed. If you like a K1600 with a little less hp and a little more comfort, you should look at the BMW K1600GTL.
