Play boondox down here in the States but usually drive down some trails or through a field to get into some woods and spend the night with a nice fire or fish by the river and down here we always have a gun with us of course
We have heard and seen some great wild camping spots in the US, especially the west/southwest. There is some of that here, but more crown land up north. Boondocking is really everything from Walmart to backwoods! Cheers! 🍻
Nice video. Stephanie and I like the idea of travelling around the country (US) by vehicle, but all of the dumping, finding water, and camping logistics is too rugged for us. Plus I (Chris) am not nearly as handy as Mitch 🤣. Glad to see you are both enjoying your travels. The Canadian countryside looks so refreshing. At some point we plan to visit that part of the world. It’s amazing just how many places there are to get water and dump water and camp! There are apps for that too. Lol. It is nice to be enjoying our Canadian countryside! When you decide to visit, you won’t regret it. 🇨🇦 Cheers!
Ah yes, I remember every day use park in Ontario having a fee. It really surprised us when we moved there as being from NS all provincial day use parks are FREE!! We spent a fortune the three years we were there since we missed the ocean and lakes were the only option when it was so flippin’ hot. 😎
@@mitchandjan I just did a google search and there are 104 day use parks in NS some of which have campgrounds attached ($). There are some great ones on the south shore and in Cape Breton. Happy adventuring!
If you ever find yourself near Madoc (between Ottawa and Peterborough on Hwy 7) drop me a note. I've got a great place for you to stay for a night or two!!! Enjoying your adventures ❤

@@mitchandjan I live in a co-op private park kinda thing and I have an extra lot that would suit Sadie fine for the night. Would love to chat about Southeast Asia. Heading there in 2025. I'm serious, look me up lol.
It looks like it would be more fun in Thailand to camp. I know here in Ontario it is very expensive now and if you have a trailer it is over 5 grand to camp so better going elsewhere.
Boondocking can be exciting. Finding the right spot is an adventure. Love it!

We didn’t realize that NS day use was free! We will have to seek some out when we get down east!! Can’t wait!

Hahaha!! Less mosquitoes in Thailand! Lol. We are trying to cut the expenses by doing some free camping!
