I had my Glacier Bay bottom load water dispenser on during the winter about 2 or 3 years ago and the power went out on the house the water lines and water tank froze. after this happened the water tank would just poor out water when the pump was running and I thought it was broken for good. I finally got down to working on it and pulled it a part to find out it was just a rubber line that froze and expanded and came off the connecting tube that poor's the water. I worked on the connection and after some time and some donated blood due to cutting my hand on sharp edges I was able to reconnect the rubber tube back onto the water cylinder and secure it with a zip tie or cable tie I used a Phillips screwdriver wire cutters to cut the ties and needle nose plies to tighten the ties.

How is that door open. Mines pulls out apart. The water tray front door has magnets on but it comes all off and urs is open like a fride door

Longshot replying to a 5 year old video but if I flip the switch for cold water it never stop blinking, it will freeze momentarily and then start blinking again. The hot water works fine. The metal backplate where the water dispenses is Ice Cold. Its been like this since I bought it last year. Is there something I need to tinker with on the inside to get it to work? It doesn't entirely bother me but it would be nice to not have to get ice cubes for when I want ice cold water. Thanks for any response.

Have you had hot water in the past you could have a burnt out element.
@@DarrenCharron yes I had a hot water in past, is there a hot water reset button or something? When I press the hot water button light keeps blinking red but water doesn't get hot
@dharmeshbhakta7160 there’s a temperature screw in the back that can be adjusted with a flat head screw driver.

Mine won’t suck up the water and i don’t know why :(
I just got one, have a new filled tank in there and when I plug it in it seems as it wants to suction up, then the yellow light starts flashing.
The yellow light indicates it’s not getting suction in the water jug. Is something blocking or wrapped around the tube that goes into the water jug?
@@DarrenCharron Not that I know of. Just the little filter at the end of the straw.
@@cristianornelas3170 when you close the bottom door where the bottle slides in there is a button that when the door closes presses in that activates the pump. Try holding that button in and see if the pump goes on. The spout that goes into the bottle also does not go all the way down I usually tilt the bottle when it gets close to empty and push and hold the button. Hope this helps
I press the red button so the hot water turns on and it does jot work does not do anything and no hot water comes out unless that red button starts flashing. Cold water is just fine any idea how I can fix that?

My Primo stand water dispenser is leaking. When my dispenser is ON my water tank continues dropping water, but when I unplug the dispenser, the tank stop dropping water and the leak stop...thanks
How do you even install the 5 gallon bottle? If I lock the handle up bottle won’t fit under the dispenser

A nice easy fix, watch out for the sharp edges! Looks like a decent water dispenser.
Yep was pretty easy I was thankful for that. I really like the water dispenser because it’s bottom load.

Could be the spring in the cold water button I had the same problem with mine a while back. The spring broke I replaced it and it’s all working again

Yep sounds like you may have a short in the line. You’ll have to take it apart and find the shorted wire and fix it.

Take the back panel off you’ll have to most likely take the front top off as well. First check the compressor on the back check the wiring if all good there then start on the front and top there is wiring there as well

There is a refrigerator motor that cools the water built into the machine
Why don't they make thing to last I hate Plastic stuff! At least you know how to fix it I would just have water in the floor!
I try to fix as much as I can I like to challenge myself and see if I can get it done.

Hmmm it should can you take it back it may be faulty but it should be ice cold a it has a refrigerant coil inside the water cooler.

@@deepuma26 yes, open the side and press reset. if that don't work, cut the beeper out or destroy the beeper. the machine still works after 1 year after i busted up the beeper
