On International Women's Day, we bring to you the stories of these women and why they are still relevant today. These depictions are based on our interpretations of multiple texts and articles, as well as discussions from elders through oral traditions. Additionally, we have drawn inspiration from many writers and playwrights over the years. We are aware that there are many perspectives and interpretations of these characters. What messages do their unforgiving stories tell us? Why should we continue to say their names?
