I just have to agree with you and with a lot of the other positive comments. Nobody I work with has even heard of her and yet I listen to her all the time. You are right; her voice is like no other in pop or rock. It sounds trained and can hold any note and yet she never overwhelms a song. She always pitches it right. She has respect for her musicians and backing singers and, yes, is beautiful and classy. She lets the song do the talking.

I had never heard a famous singer cover this Cat Stevens song before. Linda sings it beautifully, but I didn't like the country style arrangement. It doesn't fit the haunting mode of the composition. The banjo is especially annoying to someone who loves the original version.
