As Demi Rawling says, Herod is sex in a bottle. Definitely one of my favorites in my collection!
Never smelled the original but tried the Dua clone and It smelled like an ashtray with a little bit of vanilla flavored cigarillo. I didn't understand how anybody could like it.
I almost pulled the trigger but I’ve had multiple people tell me the most recent formulation trickles down to a skin scent in 30 mins.

Burlington 1819 is perhaps the longest lasting citrus scent with some depth that you just cant describe or identify the other notes past the opening. Amazing scent :)
I love citrus scent and happy to learn about Burlington 1819. Thanks. As a woman I became acquainted with Dior's Eau Sauvage in 1971 and it was an outstanding citrus scent, opening with punch, long lasting, which I enjoyed so much I began to wear it myself. Today's version can't compare to the 1966 formulation.
Just got Hacivat last week. 3 ounces of oooh yeeeah...!
Purchased both "Blessed Baraka" and "Hacivat" just the other day. Both fragrances smell great!
I swear by FDB Heritage and musc 25 from le labo. These are my signature scent. I wear this stuff all year round. I call it the most expensive bar of soap I have ever smell.

Great list Bow tie guy. I just ordered the Angels Share by Kilian and I can’t wait to get my nose on it. The Kilian online experience was great. They give free samples that they let you pick from their fragrance line. The Angels Share is also refillable and that’s good. I am going to check out some more fragrances on your list and I’ll let you know what I think. Thanks for the recommendations

Current Jubilation is water down and Amouage ruined it. I have 2014 version that smells amazing and last 18 hours on my skin
Agree, 2021 version is like cologne. It lasts up to 2-3h.
Got mine last week, very disappointing, won't be buying anything from them again.
@@davidbloem2581 Amouage makes great perfumes. Some of them have really atomic longevity and silage, like interlude, overture or beach hut. Jubilation is a shameful exception here.
That is very true I can't deny that interlude is a beast performer.
But not sure if I like the smell, strong and incense lots of incense.
I have at least a decant of three of them.
1. Nishane Hacivat: I don't like it. Starts out Aventus and quickly turns into some weird mesquite BBQ smell.
2. Creed Spice and Wood: I like it. Classy, smooth, but a little subtle on the skin. Interesting how this and Viking can be such different fragrances yet share some scent profile.
3. Parfums de Marly Herod: Pretty good. Test wore it last winter. Need to wear again. My favorite tobacco frag is Aramis Tobacco Reserve, however.
I just looked for decants of Roja Parfums Burlington 1819 for sale on the reputable decant sites (not ebay), and didn't find anything.
No Oud Wood or Royal Oud!

Smells more like Bois du Portugal with some slight animalic touches to me.

@@hocineted7594 I find its more if a dressed up night out type of fragrance weather that be a date, restaurant or bar setting. But I wouldn’t wear it casually personally but thats me.

@@hocineted7594 I wouldn’t put that scent with that look. When you smell Musc you think of “brown”, earth tones, dressed up….. your mind automatically takes you or should take you their.

@@hocineted7594 I love grand soir. Funny enough I’d rock that with a dark colored hoodie and jeans before Musc Rav. It also leaves a better scent trail which is important. Herod if you’re not gonna be indoors or close quarters. I wouldn’t wear Herod on a date I know is gonna end with close encounters, I’ll go grand soir out of those two.
Herod if you want to get noticed and Grand soir you want feel good around the woman you already have
