✅ Ingredients:
• pork loin - 1,3 lb | 600 g
• all-purpose flour - 1 cup
• 2 eggs
• bread crumbs - 1 cup
• vegetable oil - 2 cup | 500 ml
• ground black pepper - ½ tsp
• salt - ½ tsp
📙 Preparation:
1. Cut the pork loin into chops thick, remove bones and fat, cut each piece longitudinally leaving some part uncut and open the chops butterflied.
2. Salt and pepper on both sides, place into a food plastic bag and pound with a smooth side of meat tenderizer from center to sides until equable thickness.
3. Add the flour into a bowl, beat the eggs in a second bowl and add the bread crumbs into a third one.
4. Roll the prepared pork in the flour first, then eggs and finish with bread crumbs.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over high heat up to 390°F | 200°C. If no thermometer, check the readiness for frying with a pinch of bread crumbs throw in - there should be bubbling. Dip carefully the schnitzel into the oil for a minute pouring it with the hot vegetable oil with a long spoon.
6. Take the schnitzel out on a paper towel to absorb extra fat.
7. Serve the pork schnitzel hot with rice, mashed potato or salad.
📙 Advices:
1. If you have white bread crumbs, add 1 tsp of ground sweet paprika to have your schnitzel golden.
2. Pound meat only with a smooth flat side of meat hammer.
Food critics,it made my mouth water if I'm making it it its German ok,okay
I use a nice non-stick pan, with a small amount of oil, & a few pats of butter, cook 3 min side flip, 3 more minutes. Drain.
Incredible! Love the high quality videos and easy instructions, thank you!
I love watching these videos, making it for the first time, then coming back to re-watch and see what I should've done to make it better
Thank you for the video 😁😊
Pomfret's schnitzel champinion scauze gros bier !! ordered this every night whilst working in Germany as a 20 yr old bk in 1994 seriously tasty meal 💯👌

Thank You
Great how to ,thnx
Nice !
very good
Very nice recipe but the music is horrible.
Great vid! mein Schnitzel was perfect. Only different thing i did is using panko breadcrumbs.
To take it up one more notch, use whole wheat panko. The only brand I know of is Kikkoman. Not easy to find, but worth the effort.
Wow awesome thank you so much I love it going to make it ❤ 👍
You can buy them in packs of two from any Lidl or Aldi supermarket in UK or across Europe and they are just as good as fresh from a German pub 💯👌
Schnitzel( Schweineschnitzel) idt in Deutschland sehr beliebt. Dazu rone Zitronenscheibe.
Jersey royal potatoes and green beans
Why type of bread crumbs did you use???? That looks scrumptious!!!
That' its so yummy ... 😋😍👍
Thanks you!❤️
My mum used to make these but she wouldn't cut them, mixed the egg with herbs and don't add bread crumbs, instead of deep fryer just use a bit of oil in the pan, top it with cheese pineapple and bell peppers
Schnitzel ❤❤😊😊
what are the cucumbers? they look good
Wusthof knife?
Never seen it that thin before. It was literally see-through! Lol
Yes it’s Austria 🇦🇹
What do you do with leftover oil?
In Raleigh NC we can buy thin cut pork chops and not have to deal with the slicing.
K'den.
That's fine.
BUT!
One big slab is messy.
So~
I season the pork w/salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic.
Cut it into strips.
Dredge in Cornstarch.
Dip in egg.
Dredge in CORNMEAL.
Fry, flip, drain.
I know, it's not really schnitzel, but it IS really easy and Deeeeeelicious........
Did you not season yo flour ???
In the U.S., in the Great Lakes region of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, we cook pork schnitzel and put it on a hamburger bun (makes it easier to eat) and call it a tenderloin sandwich. Often served with a side of fries and a beer. Indiana claims to have invented it. Then again they claim to have invented about every working class recipe from Central Europe.
Iowa also has the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. You can find it at many restaurants, bars, etc. It’s a popular favorite sandwich at the state fair and many county fairs.
@@dozerthelab I know. I lived in the Davenport area for seven years when I was in high school and grad school.
Breaded pork tenderloin sandwich is the Indiana State dish! easy to make and so good.
I call it Hoosier schnitzel.
@@davidderoberts1466 LOL See what I mean? ;-)
'Schnitzel' is a style of cooking, anything. Chicken, pork, hell, turkey breast if you want.
It's a German WORD, not necessarily a German dish.
In Italy, it's how you make Chicken Parmesan.
Or eggplant. Same exact way.
Jeez, people, is everything about fighting?
Or learning a cooking technique
I prefer pork fat (lard) to cook pork no vegtable oil....
Wouldn’t it make sense to pound it first then season it?
No you gotta pound those seasonings in real good. Make it with "love" you long time.😊
a true Aryan meal 🙈
The breadcrumbs were very yellow/ orange color
Whats the difference between that, and cicken fried pork chops ?
Say no to vegetable oil
Way too much oil
That's what I was thinking
@@Phoenix85006 I have never that much. Just enough to cover the bottom. You are not supposed to deep fry schnitzel.
What kind of bread crumbs are those? They look like Kellogg's Corn Flakes Crumbs. Also, .1 of an inch is 2.5mm, not 4mm.
You can buy chops just like that already boneless.
Good day mate well what do you do with the leftover flour and eggs such a big waste and the breadcrumbs 😅😅😅😅😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
👹🥘
What do I use if I don't have a mallet
Hi! You can use a rolling pin, small saucepan or skillet👍
I just use my head.🤩
Rubber mallet.👍
Well, just buy the mullet !
A bottle will do also held by the neck.
Bake it in oven!
soggy ,heat up (i dont emean sugested nrs ) i mean the actual footage
The plastic is not nessecery, just a meataxe
and again, SCHNITZEL IS NOT GERMAN... for the hundredth time! It is AUSTRIAN!!!!
Lies
Adolf H. was also Austrian … right?
Get lost Austria ain't nothing but Germanys toe
Napoleon wasn’t right
This is not a schnitzel but a cutlet. You can see that.
That's right - a flattening iron.
The breadcrumbs here are not breadcrumbs. They are brown.
Breadcrumbs are brown/white.
The pan is being moved - souffling.
Unfortunately wrong.
Greetings from Vienna.
10 minutes? Yeah right! Quick would be proper! Prepare, cooking and cleanup maybe 30 minutes at best, unless you have a Time Machine. The sides probably add another 10 minutes! Looks good though it’s the clickbait I don’t like.
Whatever…. German’s still make schnitzel…. maybe it’s a German recipe.
Most definitely from Southern Germany
German Schnitzel? Do you also say German Pizza Magharitta? Schnitzel is a typical Austrian Foodstyle. Austria is not Germany! Schnitzel is not German, not Italy, not Russia, not France, not English or US.
Perhaps this is a German interpretation of the Austrian dish?
When I go to Bavaria I always have their version of Gulaschsuppe. I love it. Probably tastes and is prepared differently than in your country or Hungary.
I don’t see what’s wrong with distinguishing a German version of a dish from an Austrian or Hungarian, by adding the word ‘German’ to show that that this is how it is prepared there, whether it’s is the same or different.
Cheers… and Alles Gute.

Schnitzel is an Austrian specialty, NOT german!
How do you know. Explain please ?
You are literally the same people :)
Austrian Schnitzel is made with Veal.
Hitler is an Austrian specialty, NOT german!
@@n74wilson33 Original schnitzel is from vienna and made with veal. His point is moot however because german can be used as an adjective to describe austrians. German is an ethnicity, not citizens of a state. That is a 19th century invention. Back then the term would have extended to dutch and flemish people, even scandinavians and english if you go further back, as their exclusion would be based on the misnomer of associating german ethnicity with the holy roman empire. In modern terms it still very much extends to austrians. They call themselves deutsch, just as germans do. They speak german. They're german. Hope all this helps 👍
