Sir Aaron, I would do you a disservice if I don’t wear those boots with love. However, it will be difficult to put those two boots on the pavement or dirt. I honestly want to place them in my trophy case ❤ Thank you my friend.
Those are beautiful 😍 custom red wing boots. Fantastic work Aaron. When my traction tred soles wear out a little more, I definitely will be contacting you sir.
I feel you on wanting a different color of boot for every occasion. At one point I had quite the variety, but I had so many that I never got a chance to wear most of them so I sold off my "hoard". I'm down to a pair of 10877's and 2991 engineer boots.
@@AaronG2480 well it wasn’t good. The leather looks good, outer soles are genuine thorogoods however they replaced the welt did not use a leather and they did not take out the previous threads. I’m suspicious to say the least

hey. your videos are great and I loved your Video on the Red Wing Beckman. I would like to do a recoloring of mine too and I sent you some questions over at Reddit. Maybe you could look into my questions? Keep up the good work! you definetly know what you are doing. Here in germany there are so many cobblers that more or less harm your boots and shoes for war to much money.
Good job on the resole, however If those were my boots I would have requested the white sole instead of putting the black sole and the composite heel on them, why so as to keep the boots looking original, instead of modified.
8011 is Munson Ranger, no? Aaron seems to use Bick 4 or Black Rock Leather'n'Rich, and I'd have to agree. The 8085s are easy to over-condition since they're made with oiled leather. If your oiled leather boots *really* start to get dry and lose color, Saphir makes a colored cream specifically for oiled leather that is superb. But honestly, just a little conditioner and it usually brings back color.
I always use Cadillac leather conditioner, you can use bick 4 as well those will never darken the color, I use black-rock but only for work boots that are in pretty bad condition. I also use Red Wings leather cream neatsfoot oil blend I highly recommend it!
Beautiful craftsmanship !❤

Hi Aaron,can you make a boot a bit wider,while you’re doing a complete resole?
Yes and no if that makes sense!!! The boots would require a new foot bed! If that’s the case, it’s better for you to get a new pair !!
@@AaronG2480 thank you for replying so soon,I appreciate it Aaron.

Aaron how think are the midsoles on this pair? Is that the size you always use?
What was the purpose to resole these boots? The sole seems was barely worn out...
Customer choice most likely. Like changing rims on your car.
What’s a good conditioner to use on 8111 and 8085 Iron Rangers that won’t make them dark?

Was that steam coming off the sole stitcher?
It’s the friction between rubber and the awl

Personally I don’t like the look of anything other than wedge soles for moc toes. No matter how good the job is.
Redwing Mocs don’t look right without a wedge sole.
