Baltimore game ended and cut to the last few minutes of this - I was a Texans fan for those few minutes and Stroud did not disappoint. Man’s got it going on.

Charger fan here. What I like most about the Texans is that they are building their star players through the draft. No big name players are on their team aside from a few vets they’ve traded for. Imagine them in the next 2 years if they stick with this core.
That's how you rebuild. Develop the young talent you have then go after big names in FA. Perfect example is the OKC Thunder. They hoard draft picks and are developing their talent with no big named stars. Different sport but you get the idea. The panthers way of rebuilding is not it. They set themselves back a few years.
Cowboys fan here, and I wish you luck in retaining the young stars, especially Stroud (he is amazing!). The better they play, the more they get paid. Our owner is almost exclusively a "draft-and-develop" kinda guy, and it has really hurt us this year.
The amount of unskippable ads in this is simply insulting.

These Texans are just so fun to watch. I feel like we finally have something special in Houston. Demeco is the perfect fit for Houston. Turning this team into a powerhouse from the ground up. Can’t wait to see the improvements over the next few years
They just need to keep letting Stroud throw the ball and not get too conservative again like they did against the Panthers. Only 24 pass attempts that game vs 42 this game. Stroud is a very good passer and he's really that guy

Yeah, but the Panthers' problem isn't their QB, it's literally everyone else around him. Worst offensive core in the league, zero WR talent, abysmal O-line talent, and a run game somehow worse and more nonexistent than the Texans. It's almost like you draft your most important position and then over the next few years build around him. Jacksonville is doing it with Lawrence, even though Lawrence himself isn't exactly playing as well as expected, but he has and still is getting the tools he needs brought to the team. Stroud started out in a much better situation than Young did.

As for the injuries, Carolina has had the same problem.. except they're worse players. Mid October Houston's O-line was ranked like 12th.. while Carolina was ranked at almost 30th. Yeah, the WR core were ranked worst, but guess who was ranked 31st? Carolina.. Guess what makes bad receivers seem better? A better O-line.

As a rookie Stroud can play loose with no pressure, and he was playing against a very soft prevent defense. He played well, but literally any QB would have lit up the Bucs defense today with no pass rush and soft coverage. Baker played well within the constraints of a conservative offense. Whether you like it or not Larry the OSU fan, Baker is having a good year.
Deshaun Watson is mostly hated in Cleveland btw, and hasn't proven that he's worth his ridiculous contract or even better than Baker Mayfield 🤷♂️
