    Man, I was just bitchin yesterday about how people yammer on in their how to videos...not you! You did a phenomenal job with this video. The entire video was straight and to the point! Keep it up🤙

    This is fantastic - I got my '15 Sienna in 2016 and have been wanting fog lights ever since (it's an LE version). Got the fog light install kit for Christmas and we're going to attempt an install today. Yours is the first video that actually walks through the whole process and you don't edit out the issues you encountered, which I appreciate, since your video is very realistic on how to work through this install. It was because of your video that I knew we'd need extra wire, so we went ahead and ordered it along with the install kit (along with the quick connects, those things are awesome!). Thank you for this video!

    Did you model not come with factory harness installed?
    You should of tapped one of the wires into the dim light connection. That way the fog lights only turn on with the dim or lights on. That’s how I did ton my mom’s 2005 Sienna back in the day.
    Good job on the video.

      Your going to need a volt meter to see were active 12 is at and 12v with key is at. A volt meter is a must with this project

    Can someone tell me which wire color and location would be for the ignition switch for Toyota Sienna 2016 LE

    • @playstereo
      @playstereo Před 4 měsíci

      For anyone looking for the ignition wire on a 2016 it's the same wire pink above the two yellow connectors, the Fog lights only screw on one side the side you put the brakes inside the wholes pre-made on the bumper other wise the fog lights will look separated from the housing. I had to Dremel a little bit to make them fit. The firewall was not that hard, the running wires was, I put the positive to the starter and the ground under the battery for clean install. I did it backwards started finding the ignition wire and went outside 6 hours.. but it was worth it. Thank you for posting George it was a big help. !! NOTE: My fog light kit came only with one red wire not two for the inside.

    Just saw your great video... 1 question: did you HAVE to remove the bumper? Or, can the knockouts be reached (and fog lights installed) with the bumper still on? Thanx bro!

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 3 lety

      Removing the bumper makes it easier to install and run all of the wiring. I would recommend removing the bumper.

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 4 lety

      Yes. What I did was go to homedepot and grab some lamp wire. Your going to need butt connectors and crimpers as well to make it longer.

    Where did you tap for switch power: to park lights? , im just worrying about that ebay relay , most of them don’t last long.

    • @559powerscape
      @559powerscape  Před 4 lety

      Yeah they are garbage...you'll need a volt meter to find were 12v is coming from when you turn the key for the power source. Then connect ground right there as well for the relay. Then the ground up front for the fog lights as well. There are 2 grounding points in this kit....i connected the red and yellow wire to the same 12v lead for the power and the switch with turn them on and off when you want only when its in the ON or RUN position

    • @paulosantiago5555
      @paulosantiago5555 Před 4 lety +1

      GEORGE LOPEZ HOW TO DO IT YOUR SELF yes correct theres one for the relay ground and the other one is for the switch ground, mine was all set last year but im not in the groove of doing it, im only accesing the wheel wells of in front to access the fog assembly, im still using the original cover, i just drilled a hole at the center. Grounding to chassis is the way to go, and its proper to check if its 12v, i will just use a fuse tap ... not good in tapping wires or splicing

      @@paulosantiago5555 yes please brother ALWAYS USE A FUSE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY! I HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE FUSE LATER DOWN THE LINE AND ADDED A DOUBLE INLINE FUSE...2 FUSES CONNECTED TO THE POWER AND THE OTHER ENDS TO THE HARNESS...THAT WAY IT FLOWS THRU 2 FUSES INSTEAD OF JUST ONE.....IT HEATED THE FUSE AND MELTED THE PLASTIC...BUT THE FUSE WAS STILL INTACT 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️THIS DOUBLE FUSE WITH 2 30AMP WORKS PERFECTLY TILL THE DAY.
